    Default Jamba Item

So, I just upgraded Jamba and noticed that nifty little bar.

Just to test it, I dragged some water to it on my main - pushed the settings to the slaves and unhid the item bar for them - and yes, the water it there.

Then I clicked the water on my main, but only he uses it.

Am I missing something? Do I have to keybind it?

Using an item requires a hardware event so you need to keybind or mouse broadcast.

To be clear. That bar is just a new action bar like any other (minus range, stack counts or cooldown timer). However whatever you toss into it is controled by your main. However you still need to go to each toon and setup the key binding and on the multiplexer the key binding to use it.

So there will be a keybinding, for Jamba Item, Slot 1 through whatever.
Bind the same key to Slot 1 or whatever, on each client.

And then the keybind has each use the item in Slot 1.

Just place the item we want all toons to use, in Slot 1, on the main only.
And the slaves will use the same item, when we press the correct keybind.

I can't get over how great this item bar is.

On single class teams when they get the same quest reward, drag the item to the bar, hit the hotkey and all of them have the new item equipped.

On quests, drag the quest item to the bar, aquire the target on everyone, hit the hotkey and everyone gets the quest done.

With drops that start quests, drag it to the bar, hit the hotkey and everyone pops open the quest dialog.

Mage food/water, healthstones, pots, etc really useful while leveling up as these items frequently change and all you need to do is drag the new item onto the bar on one character.

    I love the item bar.

What are the names for the item bar if I want to do a /click command?

    That way I could do:
    /target [@focustarget]
    /click JMB_ItemBarButtonNameButDonotKnowWhatItIs
    /targetlasttarget

As a macro and set it as a keybind for quest items.

I have played with it a little.

Basically checked the option, so its visible on all toons at once.
Then created a repeater region (IS Boxer), over the entire bar (I display 4 items).
Which sends my mouse click to every other window.

    Very simple, no macros/keybinds used.
Just drag a click item onto the bar from the active toon.
And click the item from any toon.

I thought about doing a repeater region myself but I have decided to try and limit how many regions I have. I am content with a hotkey for now.

Now if we could somehow drag a macro in there... Toe curling!

Fizzler - use JambaMacro for doing Macros ... it is truly awesome.

The only issue I have with JambaMacro is that I didn't have it years ago... it is so much easier to manage the macros for your toons there that it is kind of crazy.

Especially when you consider that you can assign keys to those macro's as well. With the different Tags etc you can do really creative things.
