The Hero Online boxing ordeal

So, I played this game back when it first came to the US and it's....alright. The kung fu action is interesting and there is no way to pull aggro off someone else, you're in the area the mobs chase you. the graphics are really basic and there isn't much to customizing, with that said, i like this game for some reason so i decided i'm going to box it.

hero online doesn't let you multiclient and it's anti-hack i've never heard of before (APR) the key bindings are VERY basic. all you have to work with is:
1-= quick slots
target closest enemy
follow
auto loot
summon pet
attack

that pretty much sums up the useful keys in combat, and when a slave char is following....they can't skill.

so i'm running octopus on 2 pc's(soon to be a 3rd) and doing alright, it's still pretty slow going but not much you can do when you can't select the same thing,skill, or even stay on the same server most times.

i caught heat about 20 mins into grinding so sent the gm's a ticket to see what their take on it is, their eula is very short and there's the typical "no botting" section but it's about 3 sentences long and doesn't mention anything out a person actually controlling multiple chars.

so this is where i'm at, figured i'd share with people that know wtf i'm talking about.

It will be interesting to see what the GM's take is on boxing.

Point out that you are in direct control of every character at once.
And that none of the characters act on their own.
If you walk away from the keyboard for 2 mins, they stand there doing nothing that time.

Also wouldn't hurt to mention that one keypress by you, is only one action for each toon in the game.

octopus has been taken over by someone else now so updates are in the makes for it to help me out a bit down the road.

right now i'm still just trying to find a way to cast with both chars i'm thinking they have a bind right in the "spell book" so to speak that i might be able to get the slave to skill(cast) and maybe go from there

alright so they did an update to the gui right....*crosses finger for a target ally button* STILL nothing for targeting allies, i have to get it updated on my other pc after work to see if maybe they made it able to atleast cast while following my main becaues that would be just awsome if i could, if i can't i'm just going to stick to playing it as a single toon because it's just too much work to be useful, even making my 2nd char one that does tons of regular damage, it's basically like having another pet only it won't attack my target :P

i've found www.mmorpg.com and i'm looking for a new game that might be a little bit easier to box.
