    Default Adding an AOE button

so i was thinking of just adding an aoe button for trash as follows

    1. Drop magma totem
2 Fire nova spell instant 6 sec cool down (3 sec if glyphed)
    3 Chain Lightning ( 3.5 sec cooldown)
    4 FS
5 FN if glyphed else Lava burst
    6 Chain Lightning

Will this work or am i better off keeping FN on its own button and using the /click dps macro?
With 3 ele and a resto this could be some massive AOE damage now
    Team 1 Pally 4 x shaman

Team 2 Pally not sure of the rest yet

I usually use an AoE DPS button and a single-target DPS button. What's good for AoE is generally a waste of mana for single-target.

Indeed, and if you have glyphed your thunderstorm to not do knockback, you'll want to have it in there somewhere on your aoe button if you do use one (i do), but I don't use chain lightning on my pure aoe button.
however, since fire totems are stationary unless replaced, I'm not sure i'd use the mana heavy magma totem for it if I'll be moving around while spamming my aoe button. I'll have to think of a clever solution to this. (generally like having totem of wrath down anyway to boost the aoe of my other characters)
I'm going to live forever, or die trying.

I let mine do knockback...it gives me a short breather to heal without interruption or whatever.
