I'd like to creat a macro for my n52te that outputs a 'Direct Input' keystroke, but i can't figure out how to do it.
I can make one that has normal keyboard button pushs, but don't see a way to do DI ones.
ANyone know how?

What you have to do is record a macro. Basically start a new macro, hit the record button, press and release buttons like cntl 1. Remove the delays and save it to a name. Then left click on a key and choose the macro. Then save the setting and hit apply so that the macro will get stored into the n52te internal memory. After doing all this and it still doesn't work then unplug the the connection, wait 10s, then plug it back in.
Of course this all assumes your are running the software as administrator.
The n52te is a craptastic POS that works once you figure out all the nuances. Take it back and get a g13 if you can.

Thanks for the reply; however I can create and upload macros fine.
My problem is that i don't want to use the normal keyboard buttons but 'Direct Input' keystrokes, which it doesn't give the option to use in macros. I was hoping that there would be a work around somehow.
Maybe I don't understand what you want. What do you mean by direct input?
Do you mean you want a key on the n52te to do a keystroke like shift+alt+c?
Or do you mean you want the OS to see the device without a driver?
I really don't know....
