    Default hunters and one more

now that hunter pets will get 100% of the master's resilience plus an innate 90% AoE damage reduction from PvE mobs, I think it might be viable to do heroics with 4 hunters and maybe one shaman

any thoughts? I'm making a new topic since the changes of 3.3 and generally 3.x have come to effect

should I make one tank, one healer and three hunters, OR, can I do one healer and four hunters?

please discuss. this group would do well in pvp and in Pve

I would lean towards a Tank + Healer + 3x Hunters, for PvE content such as heroics.

However, for BG's 5x Hunters is probably stronger.

I could see a tank type (who can dual-spec to Heals or DPS) and a healer type doing okay, with 3x Hunters in battlegrounds. I don't see 5x Hunters clearing many heroics, even with resilience changes. So, if you're running both aspects with the same group, I'd go Tank + Heals + 3x Hunters.

Maybe a Feral Druid for the tank and a Resto Shaman for the heals.
Of the tank options, I like the druid the best for complimenting a hunter dps team.
The resto brings totems to complement melee, and bloodlust/heroism.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

ok, I figured five hunters for PvP (other than arenas of course) would do quite well and be easy to control

you know, pets aggressive alone will deal with most casters automatically (ferocity pets with self-heal)

checking úTube and these forums, I haven't found many incidents on people multiboxing five hunters

it seems FIVE druids or FIVE warlocks are much more common, why is that?
