Thread: Cleansing Macro

Does the Iceorbz macro actually cycle through the team members? and why is it dependant on everyone in the group needing the ability to cleanse? I don't see any commas or cast sequence so wondering how it works. I suppose I could just set it up and try myself... but the servers aren't up atm

The macros iceorbz posted are for a static *cleanse a friend* with the ability to switch friends when a target is dead, So by default with the entire team alive, toona will only cleanse toonb, toonb will only cleanse toonc and so on. If toonb dies, toona will attempt to cleanse toonc instead (until toonc dies)

The problem with this type of setup is that only 4/5 team members are cleansed and there is no redundency to deal with a cleanser being trapped in a GCD or CCd himself when you hit the cleanse button

Not to simply parrot Kromtors, but the big advantage of using a 5 button cleanse setup like he uses is that with 4 cleansers when you are virtually guarenteed to cleanse a CCd target immediatly on the first button press everytime

Hmm will try out a cast sequence then when the servers come back up. I like the idea more of being able to spam 1 button that works for everyone.
Example, if 3 out of 5 group members are feared the single target cleanse would require 3 globals to accomplish. With a cast sequence spitting out random players it would take 2 globals max. At least that's the way it works in my head. Now if 1 target is getting hardcore focused and they have multiple debuffs that need to be stripped the single target method would be better but in the heat of the battle the only debuffs you want to strip off are CC types, let the dots roll.
