Instance grinding vs quests

Best and fastest shit ever is to boost!

Go form lvl 1-8 iwth 4 caracters (pref 4 mages or 3 mages and a lock/shaman) and then:

RFC from lvl 8-17

Is there a link that lists what is the lowest level one can enter a dungeon? I can't find any.

Also, I'm curious if I can invest in a Boost-Twink, say a level 29 or 39 (keeping it at those level for lowbie BGs, while being able to boost my own lowbies in lower instances like RFK.

I'd like to know what xp/hour once can get. It might be a good project to next time.

Now I need a mod addon that logs my exp / hour.

I have TitanXP whichs gives me xp/hour, but I need something that saves it in the disk.

I have been running SFK so far and it take about 10 mins to run. this can probably work with a mage or pally. I have been using my down rank aoe , rank 1 Arcane Eplosion. Have your alt(s) on follow when some mob starts going for your bait, hit the aoe. regular arcane explosion to kill them all. This way I don't even stop running through the instance. I really don't even loot because that almost doubles the time the instance takes. unless you care about deing or cloth it's not worth it.

I can pull SFK fast also with Pally Consecration, but remember that you can only reset 5 instances per hour.

So if you're clearing it in 10 minutes, you have 2 minutes to loot. I only loot the bosses and some random ones before I start to head out and reset.

Auto follow at level 14 is rough though, so I pull and park my pally while I manually move the alts to safer spots before finishing the pull.

SM Cathedral is a 2 pull, and done in less than 8 minutes; with 4 minute to spare to clear Armory before a reset. Armory is a 2 pull, plus one pull for Herod which I skip after getting all the items I need from him.

Well the drood is up to 21 now, didn't take long at all. At 21 though I don't think he'd get all the exp the the cath cause there maybe some mobs to high for him to get exp, I think I'll wait til 25 to head over to SM, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Well I have my Drood up to 45 now, I kinda stuck with the mostly instance strat, but ended up wasting time running to too many different instances. I ran almost every instance, just so next time I boost it will be faster. here are my opinions on each instance.

RFC - not that great of EXP, but it will help you plow through 10-18

WC - there are good quests here, but I would skip it because it's too big and not friendly to aoe grinding(just too much running around for not enough exp).

SFK - Great for aoe grinding. If I had to do ti over again I would have skipped WC and gone SFK from 18-24

RFK - also a good aoe grinding instances good for 24-27. Lots of blues to DE, if you're into that.

SM - As many people have said the best for AOE grinding, and you could come here after SFK, but I like a little variety. Stay here til 40

RFD - I thought doing the quests for here would make up for the time it took, I was wrong. Skip it.

Ulda - I know it is a long walk, but now that you're 40 you can mount up and get there in 15 min or less. There are a ton of quests for it and I think it's really worth it. Plus the quests you can do just between Kargath and Ulda make it worth the trip. 2 times through + quests got me to 43

ZF - Pretty aoe friendly instance, plus all the quests are mostly in Gatgezan. Stay here til 46.

Note: it helps to have a mage and wowhead so he can port you to the differenet cities to grab the quests for each. Those quests can save a bunch of time.

My feeling on instances and looting via plevel is greed. I found two boe blues in sfk, not the best ones ass blade and w/e. But the de mats alone pays for enchanting. And someone in another thread mentioned soemthing about what you can earn gold per hour vs what you farm mats trying to save money. Well, I'm not quitting tomorrow. I don't have to move or work tomorrow, in game, I'm immortal. Time is irellevant and I'm still going to play tomorrow, so I may as well suck up every resource I possibly can. Because today's gains are a bulwark against tomorrow's needs. Or something. So I loot everything, esp bosses. And while so far, only duo boxing, I do every collection quest. It's rep, xp, items to wear or de. Even tho xp/rep is shorter scale than old, it's worth my time to be in that sense a completionist.
