I like the idea of a section which is protected.

It's a lot easier to communicate in a thread format.
And everyone can see a suggestion and comment on it.
Which increases the chances of improving us all.

But we certainly don't want to let others know what we're doing.
As that gives them an easier time in countering us.

I've not done competitive arena at all really.
But find a ton of the stuff here, as extremely useful to my sporadic entries into BG's.
And very much enjoy the pvp videos/tutorials posted, especially those with decent visual quality.

Anyone know of a better editing software that will preserve the quality better? I hate that the raw video footage looks so amazing but the video here looks like trash.

What ended up working for me (finally got the HD tag on youtube) is to record at full resolution in fraps (prolly don't need this part, but I do it anyway), and selecting 16:9 in the options for windows movie maker, and then when publishing, select the xbox mode for encoding.

I found a "free version" <cough> of the new cyberlink powerdirector v8. It works great and has a special "youtube HD" quality where it will process AND upload / tag your video to youtube while afk. Check my videos for quality... i think they are at 720... but look good to me.

In other news:

My DK only needs one upgrade from blue-->purple and the Rets have two. I'm going to marathon it this weekend including waking up for each and every WG that goes on and then see if I can't start some serious arena'ing on Sunday night. With my new computer I can run Fraps basically full time without taking a framerate hit so my plan is to record some BG's too.

Would anyone be interested in some BG videos or not?
