Rets Arena Week Three

I had to trim a bit to get it under 10 minutes for youtube, but here it is. There were two games where I forgot to hit my /focus key and you can see them running after someone else after a target switch. I am an idiot. In any case, here are some thoughts in no particular order:

1. Remembering to hit your focus key is paramount.
2. Target selection is also paramount. Getting a target to <10% isn't effective if they don't die.
3. I think I need to rush immediately and save DG for runners.
4. I need to work on my Cleanse system so I can spam one button and everyone will get Cleansed after two globals.
5. I need a new weapon. Thank god for 266dps free 2h'er in patch 3.3.

Since the games I've made two pieces of blue--->epic gear upgrades on each of the toons.

considering that was your first 10 games i think a 50% win ratio is very impressive

im not even close to your level but i was just wondering why you dont use conceration so much? surley x4 with that amount of melee on you and also the ability to dg and COI on the healer would put out some pretty heavy damage.

also how are you managing your heals for your paladins do you just use FOL when you get a art of war proc?

how are you finding aoe fears without the tremor totem?

your defently going to be putting out alot of hurt when you get your new weapons.

This was week three. The other two weeks went similarly. Basically, either I gib someone and then have my DS and trinket for AE fears and cc or I have to blow them and I still don't kill them. I rarely have a wear-down fight where I slowly get a guy down so the CC is less of a problem.

Living through an AE fear once you've gibbed two of their DPS is much easier

I agree i would like to see the movies w/ enemy health bars and stuff, not knowing how many guys are left and their HP and stuff takes away a bit of the fun of the watch, because you're not sure what's going on all the time.

When I shot this I was in a hurry--Fiance having issues, price checking and ordering a new computer, plus homework--Sometimes things slip my mind

Gladius is on my to do list. I'd like to rearrange my UI a bit but I'm not sure where to go. I tried out Vuhdo and Grid but I couldn't get them to properly show Player and Target or get the Group to look nice. Anyone have any suggestions for this?

suggestions for showing group targets? enemy targets? I use pitbull party bars which shows group targets, targetoftarget shows enemy target, and gladius shows the overall situation. There is no way you are properly selecting kill targets without arena frames of some sort. Tab targeting and grabbin whatever target looks decent isn't good. Take the guesswork out and get it now, you'll kick your old self.

Only takes a second to go into the interface and check the arena frames box. Dont need to have gladius

I use Pitbull and I like it but I'd like to use Clique and a repeater region for healing but there's no way in Pitbull to force show your guys in a raid. I don't want one setup for arenas and one setup for BG's if I can help it.

I've only got 2-3 pieces of upgrades for them right now left, so my plan is to do a lot of arena'ing this week. I'll fraps everything and see how it goes.
