    Default Action Target Groups

    Hi everyone,

i can't get Action Target Groups to work for me:

    Team: Hunter, 4 x Shaman

    What i want to do:
    - Round Robin for Shaman (Tremor Totem, etc.)

    What i have done:
    - Put the 4 x Shaman in a Action Target Group "Shaman"
    - 1 Keymap: FTL Keys for "R", "T" and "Z" (1 Step forwarded 1x1, Forwarded to all others in Shaman)
    - 2 Keymap: FTL Keys for "R", "T" and "Z" (With 4 Steps each step with other Shaman)

    Result:

If i have both keymaps active the first keymap will always been use, so if i push "R" all chars do "R". (The "others in" seems to doesn't work here)
If i only have Keymap 2 active everything goes right, if i push "R" only one gets the Key.

How can i get both Keymaps active (Keymap 1 has also other Keys) ?
Must i copy my Keymap 1 and then change the keys for my Shaman Team and only gets this keymap active ?

Sorry for my poor english, hope you could understand what i want :-)

If you are dropping totems they do not need FTL. So make the totems shift-R, Alt-R for example. You have multiple macros using the same keybinding currently (maybe)? All the macros are generated at the same time when you launch the game. They don't get loaded when you switch the key map, unless you "/console reloadui" each time.

As I understand them, you want to make a keymap. It has 4 slots, so each press will tell a different shammy to drop totem. I have no shammies to test it, but there is a topic for round robin here or on ISboxer forums

Yes i don't need FTL on Grounding Totems, but for example on Wind Shear.

And yes i could change the Hotkey, but i want that Hotkey

I though Action Target Groups are for this case.

I have one Keymap for all toons and one Key (Call it "R") that is changed to "Send to all other than the Shaman Action Group".
Then create another Keymap with also "R" that are handle any other way (Stackering Totems, WindShear or whatever). Here i change "Send to Shaman only" or use a special Charakter.

Or missed i something how Keymaps / Target Action Groups work?

Example D - Different Keymaps for teams on the same Hotkey
Let's say you start using IS Boxer, but want your hotkeys to be the same as they were for your previous boxing software. For this example, let's say you have staggered Tremor Totems on keybind 4, but also have another team where you would like 4 to continue to act as an FTL dps key.

The solution is to have two Keymaps, with 4 as the hotkey for each. One keymap will be modified for the Shaman Tremor totems and the other will have the default action.

Our modified Keymap will have the target changed to "Group (all of): Team Name". We get to the target by clicking the 1 under steps (left pane) and then editing the right pane. The modified Keymap for 4, now only applies to the team or group of characters we have specified.

We also have the original Keymap for 4, which we want to set so it applies to every other group normally, but to not apply to our Shaman group. On the top we select FTL DPS Keymaps. On the left we click on the + beside DPS 4 to expand it. Click on the 1, under Steps. Left click on the action (4 -> all) under the Do Mapped Key action. Change the target from "Window: All w/ Current" to the name for your other team. If you have more then two teams, right click on Actions, select Keystroke Actions >> New Keystroke Action, then pick your next team as the target and 4 as the key combination; repeat as needed, and edit this key if you add more teams in the future.

So we have 4 send the modifications to the Shaman team, as we have configured but to no other teams. And we have 4 send the default action to every other team, but not to the shaman team.
The only way i changed this is that i change the originally Keymap not to a fixed team as discribed. I change it to "Please do not send it to the Shaman" (others in Shaman)

It'd be easier to tell you what you're doing wrong if I saw your actual configuration. select File, Copy ISBoxer Toolkit Profile to Clipboard, then go to pastebin.com and paste it there, and give the link here

From your first post, it looks like you have two keymaps, which use the same hotkeys to activate.
But that they are both directing your shaman to do things... "all others in shaman" and "with other shaman".

You can create two keymaps using R as the hotkey.
Two more using T as the hotkey.
And two more, using Z as the hotkey.

One of the R, T and Z keymaps, should tell the hunter what to do.
And the other should tell the shaman what to do.

You only want one thing to happen (for a given toon, slot, group etc) on a given key press.
You can have a different thing happen on the same press, but that will be for another toon.
So ToonA can do action 1, and ToonB can do action 2, all on the same hotkey.
But you cannot have ToonA doing action 1 and action 2 on the same hotkey/step.

The pastebin of your configuration would help a lot.
We can load it into IS Boxer, and visually see what you have.
Which makes it a lot easier to see why something is not working.
