So, I was grinding Kurenai rep because I'm crazy and turning the beads in for consortium rep, when I spy a few hordies (lowbie priest, 69 hunter, and some sort of warlock). Now, no hordies are usually dumb enough to fight me so I leave them alone since I was about to spend several hours and didn't really care to pvp.

Next thing I know I see them fighting a priest who's taking them on 3v1. Seeing as I was there, I killed them and rezzed the priest.

Some moments later, I find one of my shaman sapped. I lay my totems, consecrate, and the 70 rogue cloak of shadows/vanishes on me before I can do more than one chain lightning. The hunter sneaks up from behind, tries to sic his pet and run away, but the chain lightning managed to reach him while the rogue started stabbing away again. BoP the shammy, dps the rogue, and we've got two dead horde.

Next thing you know...

I never saw the rogue again, killed the lock a couple times when I could find him, and the hunter and priest thought it was fun to watch me kill things with mind vision/farsight. Anyway, I never died, but I do hope he posts his fraps video. I want to add it to my stage6 collection.

lol. you gotta love that. I also love how you let him know to kick back just so when he kept bugging you and talking crap you could report him for the verbal harassment.

people are pretty stupid, every time i run thru a capital city i can nearly garantee a "hah i got you now, screenshotted you botting" i always reply no its not botting its multi-boxing, im in control of all 5 characers, responce is like "no its botting it isnt fair....reported" normally conversation ends with, "if i was a botter do you really think i would be stupid enough to walk into a city doing it?"

noone ever replies to that, i guess it wakes them up to how dumb the comments they made are.

Even IF we were botting... do all of these people really believe that the people that are actually botting are scared of getting caught by scrubs with fraps. I can just picture them at their computers all smug as they type their gotcha messages while they imagine the terror they are supposably inflicting on botters... makes me want to throw-up.

the biggest difference between botters and boxers, other than the obvious is you can kill a botter very easily

When this happens I just don't like how you never really know what punishment they get.

We know that verbal harrassment is against TOS and all that, but it'd be so sweet to know that they got taught their lesson. I think it'd also help teach other people that it's not something to joke about to falsely accuse people of something you may not be completely sure about.

I'm sure Blizzard staff really get annoyed with the "OMG I CAUGHT A BOTTER, I AM LEET" false alarms. And they can only be getting more numerous now that boxing is becoming more and more common.

I know it's very likely that I'll never run into this kind of situation with my 2 toons. No one really ever notices the twins. I guess that's fine overall, but meh.. I want my "wow, you really are a moron" spotlight too.

I think the only thing I would've done in the begining would've been when he said "Hey dude" to replay with "dudette, at least get my ginder right" or something smart ass like that to throw him off.

Haha Vyndree, I haven't had one of those in a while. Usually I'm so nice to the poor fools that by the end of the conversation they're asking how they can multibox, too!

The people who accuse you of botting are funny, but the funniest are the people who accuse you of "cloning your character". WTF is cloning your character? lol
Hand in hand with that are the people who ask if you need multiple accounts. /facedesk
