Default 5 boxing on 1 machine, want Sound to follow Window Focus

This has never been an issue for me before - it seemed that in Vista disabling "play sounds in background" worked - as it is right now on Win7, I hear everything from all of my toons? Is this something anyone else has noticed?

I am so annoyed, I'm going to put:
/console Sound_EnableAllSound 0 into my PiP switching macro ... but I'd rather have it back to the way it was - sound on the screen that has Window Focus.

    Thoughts?

I don't know about windows 7, but if disabling play sound in backgound doesn't work there, I guess the best option is to have one PiP macro for switching to each character, and having the character being switched to turning on their sounds and the rest turning theirs off.

I dunno what setup you have for PiP switching, so I answered based on how I have it set up, with one button for each window in all windows.
I'm going to live forever, or die trying.

I have thought about doing this myself. I keep the sound off on my slaves but using ISBoxer I could easily do a Cntrl-M on PiP switch.

I cannot think anything changed with win7, if you remove play sound in background and just do foreground. And then have your muliplexer not allow the slaves in foreground it would do that. Its never been clear to me what use the denying keys to the slaves or rather denying focus to them. Perhaps its a script follow the focus like system like your describing.
