    Default Comparison Conundrum

I just compared a computer with the same specs from parts off of www.newegg.com to www.cyberpowerpc.com and it only ended up being 50 bucks more expensive for cyberpower to put it together for me--Plus I get a three year warranty. Am I missing something from newegg? Here are the specs:

    I7-920
    Asust P6T Deluxe
    12 GB of ddr3 240 pin corsair
    gtx 275 1792mb
    Case+500w antec power supply
    500gb seagate
    kingston 64gb ssd

I thought I was going to be getting a better deal than that for putting it all together. The best combo I found was mobo+processor for $550. What am I missing?

OMG, don't mention buying from anywhere but Newegg or not building it yourself. I am sure the zealots will be over shortly to show you the error of your ways.

Don't cry like a little girl just because we save money and can put something together that's as easy as making ramen noodles. You know the people at these pre-made pc stores are laughing at you, right?

And you are too blind to see the other side of the coin. But yeah, right on queue to spread the gospel. Carry on.

I used to buy premade pc's, then I stopped being lazy and spent 5 minutes learning how to do it myself. So i have seen both sides of the coin. Now my pc's are always better than they would have been. Enjoy your mediocrity, lol.

    Nice troll post there.

Katharsis pretty much covered it...Cyberpower is NOT a place you want to buy from, their typical quality of service and work has earned a very bad reputation.

You're missing the fact that it's black friday holiday sales and every single company in the U.S is cutting prices like a fat kid cuts through thanksgiving pumkin pie. They're all cutting it down as far as they can to factory stock prices to sell mass amounts or have their business die on the busiest day of the year.

Add in that the power supply u have is to small for the video card. I have gts 250 nvidia card and i bumped mine up to 850w one cause 500w was to small and if i decide to go sli mode in future power supply is big enough for the added video card.

So double check the power supply. You dont want a delay in your shipping because you get an email saying you need a bigger power supply and need to scrap the money together to afford it.
They say spiders have 8 legs well i guess im a rare and unimaginable specimen. Ive got 9 legs and my web comes from that 9th leg. HaHa.
