    for seamless display stitching check out http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/projects/thesis/ the video on Automatic Projector Calibration... Towards the end they use the technology to seamlessly stitch 2 projected images together.

    It also demonstrates projecting onto non-flat surfaces.

    Also of interest is the Wiimote head position videos on an adjacent page

    How do you get 2880x900 to equal 5 megapixels? Its about half that.

    NEC is working on an ultra-widescreen too.

    2880x900 and probably cheaper then the Alienware version. Most of the specs are still unknown.
