I've tried the Brian Kopp guide and Extreme Leveling.
In both cases, the one-box speed is amazing.
And the five-box speed sucks with the collections.

Both of them use an in-game addon, to mark where to go on the mini-map.
A tad better then questhelper, in that you don't just have a straight line to the goal and possibly mountains in the way.
Well, once we're in Outland, we should be flying anyway, so that's less of an issue then in the old world.

The guides assume, a few collections with even a poor drop rate is ok.
Because the experience is decent on the kills, and you get a reward from it too.
Those portions are kind of bleh, for boxing.
But the pace is pretty good with any of the guides.

I have Terrorkar and nagrand listed out. These are all MB friendly quests, so no collection quests etc, unless it drops for everyone in the group.

    Greatly appreciated, Starbuck_Jones.

I'm sure I'll have more toons in Outland at some point.
And this will help them enormously.

    Yes.

Hellfire --> Zanga --> Terokkar --> Nagrand --> 68 and go to northrend.

Just do every quest, even collections. there are so many mobs, kill everything in your path. It goes REALLY fast. I usually do the Outland grind in 2 - 3 days of playing (normally a weekend)

I just did Outlands last week on my bandwagoning DK, 4 ret team with no rested XP. Without a question, questing is by far the fastest way. I ran a few instances along the way to complete some quests, but mainly quested. Only took a couple of evenings as well.

Most people say go to northrend right at 68, but I stayed and continued questing until I hit 70 skipping almost every collection quest with the exception of a few that opened a decent chain (stupid moths in Terokkar come to mind). I completed Howling Fjord skipping most of the collection quests there, and am about one-third the way through Borean Tundra. With that, I'm half way through 72 with 2.5 days played on all my paladins.

I must say, one thing I love about this new team is the mana regen. Kinda crazy to think that you can level all the way up and not have to drink at all even doing instances -- See achievements / character / consumables:

    Nagrand

If you followed my list you should have 2 quests in your Journal. A Message to Telaar & The Masters Grand Design. Kill the ellks for the tusks. 100% drop and tradeable. I recomend doing The Masters Grand Design quest line as it will unlock and send you back to Terokkar Forest for a dungen. When I originaly wrote these lists I only had riding, now with flying at 60 its prolly not quite as optimized as it was before and you may have to go out of your way a bit to get 3x tusks and the drops for the grand design portion. If you do all 4 of these zones plus their dungen quests, you should easily be 68 and then some if you started at 60 and have fun in Northrend.

Ive run through this list of quest twice. The first time was with a paladin and 4x druids and i didnt have any real issues, even with the dungens. Second run is with a 80 paladin and 4x shaman and of course its a cake walk with the 80.

Skettith Halls or whatever that zone is with the mind control guys was a pain and the fear bombs in the slave pens too. Im thinking about maping out the other outlands zones as well. If they reduce the xp needed to level etc when the next expando pack comes out, it MIGHT be worth it to stay in outlands till like 73 ish as northrend is not very MB friendly when it comes to the quests, other than the dailies.

I also recomend doing the Spooregar rep grind to neutral to unlock all the dungen quests in Underbog. With the upgrade to rep they put in, it shouldnt take more than 20-40min killing bog lords to get it, and its worth the extra 44k xp.

If your boosting, just grab the most valuble quest reward. The only rewards I kept for my shamen on this run were the blue quest rewards.
