I would say the quest grind is the boring one. I'd rather level through instances. There are 16 five man instances in Outlands and that's not including the heroics. You will only have to run each one 2 or 3 times before you get a level and move up to the next so it stays fresh. And since you have lots of teams at 60 you can switch them and only play rested xp to make it that much faster.

Or you can thoughtlessly run back and forth killing and collecting things questing...
