    The main point of the G13 over G11/15 is the stick !
    - You save at least 4 keys, since direction keys are not used anymore
    - One finger (thumb) does all the steering, so 2 others become available for more pew-pew'ing

    Steering with a cross-bar/stick is a little tricky, it is very hard to break the QZSD habit (yep, french keyboard ). But really, once it's done, there's no turning back.

    I second this. I can't really imagine needing more keys then what comes with a standard key board.

    Its not about having more keys, its about accessability of the keys.

    The lua programming of the g19 is amazing. its definately a different keyboard than just a keyboard with some extra programmable macro keys.

    It is all about the accessibility to me as well. I like the way the G19 just fits my hand not to mention the thumbstick. Unless I am typing my hand stays on the G19 the whole time.

    G13 = 22 keys + joystick

    PS/2 keyboard, my left hand placed on the "home keys" / WASD position = 33+ keys + entire numberpad for right hand. My right hand constantly moves from mouse to numberpad as needed.

    I love the concept of a "game pad", but honestly I've found a standard keyboard to be much more natural. I type something like 75+ words per minute, and i've been typing for 15+ years, so a keyboard is VERY natural for me.

    If you want more "accessability" out of a keyboard, learn2type (the proper way)

    I have both the N52 Te and the G13, have had the N52 the longest and it feels natural, the G13 feels to big for my hand and I can't get use to it, the extra keys on the G13 could come in handy if I could get use to it.

    It has nothing to do with typing or number of keys for me. It has everything to do with comfort and preference. The way I sit at my desk my keyboard would have to be 2 feet long for it to sit where my hands are.

    I felt the same way I never would have picked up the G13 if my N52 did not break. I did not like the feel of the TE so I took a leap and tried something different. It took me a little bit to get use to it I do miss the D-keys on the legacy N52 though.

    I have over 20 years of being a touch typist and I couldn't get comfortable with a WASD setup.
