Going Down?
Well, I found out how to definitely get that achievement this morning. It involved me being a retard and standing near the lumber mill flag while fighting a shaman when I was solo on my druid. Simply get thunderstormed off the ledge, switch to cat form and whatever that reduced fall damage talent is kicks in. I got a lot of "LoLs" when that popped up in /bg chat.

the easiest way is to jump off scryer tier and land flat on the ground (not the ramp)
I found if you were on the ground mount, it was a lot easier to not accidently land on the ramp.
Back when you could not be mounted inside buildings...
If you were at the Temple in Dragonblight, flying downwards from the top.
At the point where you are dismounted, you survive the fall there too.

The best spot that I've found is the scryers tier indeed, but not where the elevator is, rather the balcony-like spot a bit further north from it. This is where's I've gotten all my fall related achievements on all my characters.

I do them at the Wyrmres Temple, too. There's a ledge above the flight path. Don't need to jump, don't need to worry about where you land, just walk off, and away you go. It's my favorite spot, since I can line up my toons, run forward on them all, and since I don't need to worry about jumping, or landing in the right area, I spam my guild with the achievement all at the same time

I used my Pally first to get this one. Went to Shat and ran off the elevator ledge on the Aldor side and bubbled on the way down. Went back up top, let cooldown reset and bubbled a couple friends on their toons for this as well. Another spot I found acidentaly is in Exodar at the top of the stairs by the Inn. You gotta run off at the top at just the right spot to land on the winding stairs below without killing yourself (died quite a bit on the other toons trying to find that spot again). Like I said, tricky spot here, but doable. I wouldn't advise here cause I still die now and then from missing the sweet spot.
I got this completely by accident the other day. I misjudged a jump off the Exodar entrance, and hit the ramp that leads down to the Naaru. Bing! Going Down?
I got this one by leaping of the top of Stormwind harbour.
