    Default What i'm doing wrong..???

    Hi

I'm here to get some suggestion about my multiboxing difficulties, in short term this is so damn hard..

I'm using Hotkeynet and Jamba and boxing these sets:

    Warrior 80 - Tank
    Hunter 77
    Rogue 68
    Warlock 68
    Priest 68 - Heal

    Warrior 80 - Tank
    Paladin 68
    Shaman 78 Heal
    Death knight 68
    Mage 68

    Paladin 68 Tank
    Druid 65
    Druid 65
    Druid 65
    Druid 65

    Paladin 68 Tank
    Shaman 60
    Shaman 60
    Shaman 60
    Shaman 60

Jamba is configured to handle the master focus target , so i can switch the target simply with a keybind, the same key spam the dps sequence
I'm also using the setmaster function so i can handle the change of the master.
Generally i'm using a single pc with 5 wow and i can switch the main window using the window resize of hotkeynet (a little slow ..)
Jamba also handle the follow function very well, just some trouble with the stop follow.
I'm using the interact with target for DPS attack and the other useful functions like the remote DPS turning in the right direction (this is again a little bit tricky...)

    Now the question...

What i'm doing wrong, why is so damn hard to do stuff like instances??
I did some outland DG with a lot of trouble...
For example the tank warrior is geared to handle HC of northrend but i'm dying a lot of times in outland DG.
At this time can't even imagine to handle a HC of northrend when the full set ding to 80, not even a normal...

Is there a better software combination to handle this?
    Isboxer, Keyclone, ******** ??
    Any suggestion is welcome

    Talpax -Doomhammer EU

    Ps
Sorry for the bad english, i'm from pizzaland

I don't think the problem lies in the software you're using, because some people succeed without any boxing software at all, so the problem almost certainly lies with you. Sorry

Can you give us a bit more detail on the sort of problems you're having?

I can imagine, for example, that you'd have a terrible time with the mixed melee / caster groups you've mentioned there unless you have some clever interact with target / click-to-move mappings across your team. Even then it's going to be a bit hairy.

I can also imagine that if you're playing with so many different teams, perhaps you're just not getting enough experience with any one of them? It takes a while to be able to react quickly to bad things happening!

For example the tank warrior is geared to handle HC of northrend but i'm dying a lot of times in outland DG.
I'm probably being very thick, but what's a "DG"? Dungeon? As in instance?

I think this gives us the biggest clue as to what your problem is, and it's one that's hit all of us at one time or another..... HEALING!

If your tank is over-geared, and you're tanking "properly" (with due regard for facing, etc) then you should be absolutely waltzing through the early to mid Outland instances. Some of the level 70 instances are seriously painful to box, so just skip them and head over to Northrend when you get into that range.

So... how are you handling your healing right now?

As first i'm sorry when i say DG i mean instances...i simply don't like this word

I'm handling the healing in standard situation quite well, i have the healer with the right talent tree so i can handle the situation.

My biggest trouble is always during boss fight when the boss or the adds attack my other characters.
The tank doesn't loose the aggro on boss, simply this is the tactic built in.

I simply don't know how to handle this situation.
For example in Auchenai Crypts (not sure if is in this istance) the final boss alt start attacking the healer and the dps.
When this happen what is the best chance?

Drop the tank and play with the others?
Try to get aggro with the tank?

For example i have tried UK normal and the first boss send the skeleton to the others characters then...panic

Don't feel bad. Some Outlands dungeons just aren't as forgiving as Northrend stuff. I still have trouble with some Outland heroics and my guys are farming HTOC easy. lol. It's no fun to kill the Black knight on heroic then walk into Heroic Shatt Halls and go splat several times in the first few pulls.. Thinking to yourself wth just happened.

At the moment i'm using some of the macros suggested here on dualboxing for dps.
For healing just 2 heal main and group heal (like heal chain of shaman)

I agree with all the suggestions and would just like to add that slave movement independent of the tank is a great help. I personally have up,down, left, and right bound to the movement keys on my slaves. It really makes a difference when you need to get your slaves out of the way. Tavarok in mana-tombs really made me appreciate this and Hungarfen in underbogs... prior to having the movement keys bound I would always wipe on him. Those mushrooms hit hard.

You might want to consider ISBoxer. I use to heal with a set of macros, but once I moved to ISBoxer I click heal from my main screen. Makes it alot easier to heal and avoid overhealing.
