Ret - Cant Kill anyone yet lol!

Damn my rets man, Im in savage gear 2pc deadly and some titansteel. Fucking druids man I cant even kill anyone. Ive done like 12 matches overall and I got two people down.

Gotta get them upgrades lol, tried a heroic with my buddy was only pulling 1k dps on all 4 rets. This will change soon I win wintergrasp like 5-6 times a day at least. Overall it seems like its going good. Teams with paladins appear to be a small issue due to bop. Currently going to be trying arena with a mutilate rogue for MS and Snare, I figure if anyone can keep a target slowed down its them.

But for now we are progressing, bg's are a blast doing this setup. I recommend everyone give the 4x-5x melee a shot.

no matter how bad gear you have doing 1k is relly low, you must be doing something wrong.

are you sure that they are always in range of your target ?

I'm doing something wrong as well. My tank is dual spec ret and with a 3850 gear score I do 1.5k dps in heroics. I go ret when my buddies guild does a bunch of heroics in a chain. I haven't played ret since BC so I'm prolly doing it wrong ^^

I use something similar to this. In pvp, consecration is manual. I dont run the sound thing in the macro either. Even solo boxing my ret paladin, I pull 2.8-3.4k dps, and I don't feel I am very well geared. Says I have a 2369 gear score in mostly PVP.

are you sure that they are always in range of your target ?

1k is sustained for an entire instance of mobs, not just one bout. Saying you do "1700 dps" over a recount of like 25 seconds is kind of bogus. My paladins did like 2.1k dps to 1600 dps on ingvar, but overall for the entire instance they were about 1k.

Where my shamans with their gear will parse out an instance at about 2700-3000 doing spike dps of 4k-6k.

My paladins can`t even get to 1k. Tho some nice stun rotations help out there.

Some big geared guys like disp priests can be a bitch to kill.

I did some arena with 1dk, 4rets and won 5-10. With 1 piece deadly and heirbloom chest and weapons. Rest was quest green and blue`s. You can still kill some locks and mages in 2 globals with shit gear

Now I run 5 rets so I`ll have to see how it works tomorrow.

I have *no* problem destroying anyone without a one-button immunity once they're DG'd into my group of DK+4 Rets. I'm telling you guys, use the /click. It's the only way to go.

Just wondering what sort of click you have set up for your dk lead and what spec is it? I use click on my five upcomming dks. Still haven't fine tuned my commas but it seems when the frost and plague runes turn to death runes it seems my macro doesn't recognize the death runes for my macro. Has anyone else had this problem?
