    Default Keyclone 1.7s issues

Hi Keyclone, I have quickly browsed to see if the following are known issues but was unable to find them so...

I tried 1.7s maximizer functionality but I get huge video lag, I can't even log into wow it is that bad... it only seems to effect my main instance (1920x700) but it takes over half a second to draw one frame.

I switched back to the original maximizer and all is good, except using focus follows mouse. I am no longer able to use the right mouse button to control an active window. Switching off Focus following restores functionality.

    Cheers

the 'original maximizer' and keyclone's maximizer do exactly the same thing.. which is to remove window dressing and reshape the window. keyclone does a bit more in that it adjusts the wow's game graphics resolution to allow it to look better.

that being said, my guess would be your video card does not like the size you chose. how much graphics memory does your card have and is it shared or dedicated? what is your cpu, gpu, etc...

Sorry for the late response...Holidays got in the way

    I am running

    Althon X2 4600+ (dual core)
    2gb ram
    ATI Radeon X1950XT 512mb (dedicated)

I also have a Radeon 2400Pro(256Mb) but that is not driving the 24" monitor I display all the WOW instances on

    I run 1 instance at 1920x700 and 2 instances at 960x500 on a 24" 1920x1200 monitor.

this configuration is the same in both maximizer.exe and keyclone.exe

with maximiser.exe I have no rendering issues with keyclone.exe I can't even enter my password the login screen is drawn so slowly.

other then removing the window frame and positioning the window, maximizer doesn't do much else.

hmm very strange... I will play with it some more over the weekend...

Does keyclone change the gxResolution in the config.wtf file before launching the instance? Will checkiing this give me the resolution that keyclone has been launched in? can you recommend any other areas to check for incorrect config?

    thanks

yes, if you are using teh maximizer and wow, keyclone will modify the config.wtf file to adjust for the correct aspect ratio. this shouldn't impact the cpu that drastically

also... remember to update to the latest keyclone. v1.7t alpha is available on the downloads section of solidice.com. i am hoping to finalize multi-monitor this weekend.. thereby pushing v1.7t out of alpha.

    Hi Keyclone...

Ok I had the same issue with 1.7t06dec but managed to resolve it by setting the resolution of my main window to 1 pixel less than the screen width 1919x700 works fine but 1920x700 has too slow a refresh rate.

    My system is set up with a Radeon X1950XT (512mb) for the 24" monitor @1920x1200 and a Radeon 2400Pro running 2monitors @ 1200x1024 and 1024x768
    situated as follows
