I only ever ignored one person on this forum (it was prior to vbulletin).

I'd go to threads see that the person I ignored had posted (and it said it was hidden) and end up clicking on the link so I could see what was said this time. Just couldn't help myself.

    Ended up unignoring that person.

    Damn my curiosity.

I know what your getting at, but as a side note, there are 2 types of deletion in use here. Soft, and NukedFromOrbitGTFO. Soft delete is when you see a thread in the forums that shows it's been deleted, that is a recoverable thread. You can also see a reason WHY it was deleted if the mod put one. Most threads that actually have content are soft deleted in case (someone who can) someone wants to venture into the thread and clean it, otherwise, it pretty much rots if nothing of real value was there. NukeFromOrbitGTFO is stuff that is permanently deleted, and is unrecoverable because it's actually removed from the database. Normal circumstances the only thing that gets NukeFromOrbitGTFO is spam or OP requested (because something was screwed up, or didn't meant to post) post / thread deletion.

Would prefer the option to not even see the message that they have posted anything.
Also, does not block quoted stuff (can see why this would be harder).

But still good, ty, have been using it for last few weeks.

Coming out of nowhere drivin' like rain, Stormbringer dance on the thunder again
Dark cloud gathering breaking the day, no point running cause its coming your way

Rainbow shaker on a stallion twister, bareback rider on the eye of the sky
Stormbringer coming down meaning to stay, thunder and lightning heading your way

Ride the rainbow crack the sky, Stormbringer coming time to die

No, the data is already loaded and the functions that step through the data are already running, so the only thing that can be done is is the block you see.

For quoted data, yeah, I think it would just be too much overhead to re parse everything per page load for specific users.
