And the loot arms race continues. So damned retarded, IMO.

If this is the way you feel, you're playing the wrong game.

I'm just curious how hard its going to be to obtain.

Ah, but grasshopper, I can have the opinion that it is retarded without that affecting the other 95% of the game that I DO enjoy.

As it turns out, the premise my original reply was based on was faulty. I thought the current PVP 2h Axes were something like 230dps. Turns out they're 290dps, which isn't that much of a jump for this new axe. Think I was looking at 1h axes or something.

OMG the stats on that are sick.. I don't care for the aoe proc'd benefit but 3 red slots are awesome +40 extra strength on a drain proc.

While the Axe is nice, this will only work for those of you that are playing 5 times DK's, or doing 5 Ret Paladins. For the rest of us it is only like an Off Spec tool that well will never really get unless your main is Ret, DK, or Warr.

I doubt I will ever wield that axe on my paladin. but its cool to look at. and character progression (either thought gear, professions, or achievements/accomplishments) is why I play this game.

It's a legendary. Just like that hammer from Ulduar, or whatever. So I think it's pretty much a non-issue for most of us here. If you want it, get in good with your raiding guilds now.

Basically Bliz released a new weapon for melee guild masters, or friends of non-melee guild masters :P

The number of these on a high pop server will probably be very very limited.
