woot. Skadi is a pain in the ass, especially when using the harpoons breaks bear form, so I had to do some quick window swapping and have my lock use the harpoons.

Grats, I hate that event. I forgot to do it on my other team argh.
After UP I went to VH, I've cleared this place many times so it wasn't any big deal, until I broke kill time records on Xevozz and Cyanigosia
28 second Xevozz kill, didn't have to heal, healer didn't do any DPS, the 381 dps on the meter is from trash (magma totem is OP rite?)
38 second Cyanigosa Kill
I doubt these are huge kills or anything, but it's awesome to see how I'm shattering old records and improving even on stuff I farm mindlessly.
Nicely done
I always collect the harpoons on my tank and then reset the encounter before handing them over to one or two other characters for the final push.
Once engaged, I park the 4 shammies near the harpoons and use mouse broadcasting to actually use the harpoons. It's still a pain in the ass, but I find it easier that way, and with a bit of luck you can fire off two or three harpoons on each click too.
nice, I didn't even think of using mouse repeater for it. I failed HARD a few times cause I was too stubborn to trade out the harpoons to an alt. So once I had that, and some quick PiP swaps the hardest part was transitioning from killing spawns to getting the boss away from the group so he wouldn't Whirlwind.
I love the Skadi fight. Bubble x5 > whirlwind![]()
Is there anyway to target the harpoons and launchers and interact with target.
So on one alt have a key press that targets a harpoon, hit your interact with target, then when skadi is in range target launcher and hit interact with target.
(probably not but worth checking)

There is not. You could interact with mouseover though. My issue was it was breaking bear form thus leaving me exposed to the spawns eating my face. But simply throwing the harpoons to an alt and making the alt use the harpoons by swapping to that window worked well while the rest of the group continued to mow down spawns. GREAT macros ftw!
Did you do the run in gather up the harpoons and run out tactic?
I've avoided Heroic UP up to now purely because of that skadi fight.
However having run it solo in a group that did the reset trick I'm sure I can box it with enough practise.
Gratz though, impressive achievement

I tried it a few different ways with varied results. some of the attempts resulted in him bugging out and despawning.
What WORKED though, was hanging everyone back at the start where he is, and collect up harpoons, the mobs come 2 at a time and every other set will drop a harpoon, when you have 6-8, run out to the previous room and wait for the event to reset. then run back in and high tail it as far as you can ( get about 3/4s the way down, but I have a super geared tank and strong healer) I DPS down the trash, collect any extras i see hanging around. and then go clear the rest of the trash. then I clear trash as it spawns and strafe left to right to avoid the ice. And then use an alt to use the launchers. Once you can do this easily, the hardest part is the transition when he comes down and you have to pick him up, he's taunt able, but save your taunt for when he starts to WW, then taunt and RUN AWAY, he'll follow, but he may break and go after your team, so be ready to re-taunt, you don't taunt off the bat so he's not on DR if you need this 2nd taunt. I managed to have my tank eat a WW and was able to heal through it, unless you're pretty geared T8+ with a strong dedicated healer I wouldn't try it, just run out and avoid it.
