Default Dual Boxing in LA & Orange County

I'm a filmmaker visiting LA Dec 17-Dec 22, 2009. I recently finished a film called Gamers on what it's like to play MMORPG games. Check it out at: www.gamersfilm.com Everything is professionally shot and edited.

I'm starting a new web series tentatively titled Extreme Gamer. The premise is 5 minute shows about interesting personalities in the gaming world. Not just MMO. I'll be the first to admit I know very little about dual-boxing but I find it fascinating!

I'm looking for a gamer that would be interested in participating. Explain what dual boxing is, how to get in it, the advantages. Obviously the more extreme systems the better. Shoot me an email at gamersfilm [at] gmail.com with a few lines about yourself.

    Thanks. Ben.

p.s.- forward this to friends, I'm interested in any and all stories about and by Extreme Gamers.

Honestly, Everything there seemed to have a negative tone and I don't think that it represents me or many people i know.

Yes there are those who are addicted, but I play a good bit maintain a health marriage, a job, still within navy standards for fitness and excellent social skills. (Public speaking ect) Most people on these forums are here for efficiency and ease, I play multiple characters to save time and make things easier for my solo play.

Showing the typical gamer would be boring as hell.

Like you I do not fit that mold but it is entertaining to see the other side.

Well, thanks for sharing the link.

I don't think the video describes me either.
But with 11 million gamers, just for wow...
Even interviewing 100 players wouldn't get you that response either.

Got a laugh out of the comment that a raiding guild is akin to a street gang.

I think that most boxers at least from my impression are not your typical hard core serious raiders. We have little patients for PUG's and value our time. I am married with 3 kids and a job that keeps me on the road 75% of the month. When I am gaming I want to enter the instance when I am ready, step away when the wife and kids need my attention and give up without feeling bad.

ur absolutely right, most of use dont like to wait around for stuff to happen, get on play the game like a game, log off, puggin 1 player ei for 5's is not anything, but doing heroics, or a whole 5's team (this takes forever for all 5 to log)

Really, it doesn't look like a film called Gamers, it looks like a film called Next on Oprah - WoWJunkies. Other games are barely mentioned and all the gamers you featured were flat out WoW Addicts.

As for Extreme Gamers...I'm a huge dork and I wouldn't watch it. Like "notable extreme gamers" need any more freaking exposure. I am not interested in feeding other people's God Complexes.

Fizzler's dead on. Normal gamers, even multiboxers are pretty damned boring. We all shower in plain old water, not the blood of our enemies.
