    Yep. In WoW's Interface options, under Camera, I set the camera following style to Always, and under Mouse, I set the camera following style to Locked. No more issues with that.

    That did it thanks for your help, I was getting frustrated with the camera switching and having to log out and back in. It'll take a bit to get used to using the CTRL to view but eh, better then having to logging out.

    instead of logging out you can also just rightclick once next to you char.

    this will make the camera follow you again when you move with WASD
