I always get a little laugh when I see the take of "serious" players in the game. Everyone's view of serious is different. Some would say that all serious boxers would have completed heroics prior to 3.1 when they became outgeared to them. Others would say serious boxers have arena titles. People would compare achievements and see if you got your Glory of the Hero when it was exceptionally hard or when you killed raid bosses 10 man and 25 man. Still others would then see if you're truly multiclassing a mixed team and claim that running multiple shamans or running all dps in a raid isn't "serious" multiboxing.

Doesn't really matter in the long run. The game has plenty of options to keep motivation and things to do. It's not always about the BiS gear or whatever the latest "endgame" is. There's plenty of content around. It's still a game and not a resume. I play for fun and challenge - and if you can't find either atm, then a break would probably suit you best.

Either way, all this talk of gearscore and seriousness gives an air of talking down ones nose and an air of elitism. Not sure if that's intended.
