Heroic Nexus and Halls of Stone and more

So I've transferred to Kil'Jaeden and when I got my toons' names all changed in ISBoxer and everything set back up, I set out to do heroic marathons to farm up some PvP gear. I cleared Heroic Nexus but forgot to take a screen shot. That place is a lot easier than I expected. Halls of Stone was the daily Sunday, so I managed to knock that out for the first time as well. The Brann Event sucks, but I can get through it, just barely.



We went to BT as a guild saturday night, cleared up to Ilidari Council, was good times

I also figured out I can skip some h-UK and h-DTK trash packs, so that has made farming those instances a little more tolerable.

Only 2 packs, after King Dred, when you go up the stairs, there are 2 pats, and 2 packs of mobs on the left in the alcoves, you can skip the mobs in the alcoves. it's not much, but ANYTHING helps imo.

Weird I can never skip the first set of mobs in the alcove with the shamn in their group. When I pull the lone death knight troll he aggros them too or something no matter where he is.

Edit: you dont really need to skip them since they are below half health but I am with you on that. I prefer to just go past if I can. Also depending on timing its possible to skip the 2 dino patrollers before king dred. Follow them till they turn towards the stairs then run into the area where king dred is. If Dred isn't nearby you can kill the 3 raptors then pull dred up the stairs and fight him on the stairs.

First few times I tried skipping the packs in the alcoves I messed up, I'll have to do it again to remember exactly, I either managed to kill the 1 pat between the alcoves or I pulled him before I passed the alcoves, I'll run it when I get home and report back.

A funny note on the King dred fight is if you fight him on the stairs his adds tend to get stuck in the stairs along the side. Not that he is a hard boss anyways but it makes it even easier when you dont have to worry about some of the extra adds..

I've noticed this as well, the thing I hate about this fight is how tremor totems seem to either work great, or fail miserably to catch the fears.

Easier yet, just pull the raptors out one by one and then you get no adds. Whereas the stairs can sometimes get you bugged mobs that can hit you, but you cant hit back. I tend to skip the dino, because hes a pain in the ass.
