Jewel crafting: Large fangs

A week ago I started leveling up jewel crafting on all four however I'm stuck at the barbaric collar - it requires large fangs and its rare to see them on the AH - none the less I buy them all up and after several days I've gotten two of the four past that hump.

I remember vendoring these things by the stack back in the day (now they go for 5+ gold each, lol) but can't recall where they dropped a lot -- thottbot/allah isn't helpful.

I know a lot of you have done this as well and once I'm done I'll be sitting pretty with 3100 SP on each but until them I'm stuck with a lowly 2980.

Any suggestions on where to farm these up?

Large Fang

Personally, I don't use them. Shadowgems are a whole lot cheaper and easier to find {Ring of Twilight Shadows}. Then Statues, Agate Shield, Filigree, Engraved Truesilver Ring....

imo dont waste your time, do the dailys and buy the items you will get just as much. And yeah i used shadow gems.

The wolves (and there is alot of them) in the badlands drop them I believe if you really have to.

I was in the same position as you and eventually crafted whatever else I could to get past that bottleneck. I have since been keeping all of my Large Fangs for when I level my next JC.

I believe the wolves in Darkshire also drop them.
