    Question Quick ToC question

I have an 80 pally tank and my dps and heals are 78 right this minute.
Cleared halls of stone no trouble yesterday, just as a gauge of my current abilities and whatnot.
Do you think it would be possible to clear normal to finish out my leveling?
It would be great gear upgrades for my guys to use while grinding emblems on heroics.
    Any input would appreciated.

P.S. I'm on my phone right now, but if anybody wants armory links or anything let me know.
I'm really just asking for an off-the-cuff estimation of being able to do ToC before 80.

I think it would be tough to kill the Black Knight. You could possible do the champions with good strategy and the pally is easy regardless of gear. The Confessor would likely monkey stomp you. I recommend doing the champions over and over. Maybe try the second boss and reset if you get Paeltress. Is your dps mixed or all one class?

There is one nice tank upgrade, bracers for all your casters and a belt for your boomkin just from the champions.

Have you tried any of the 80 instances (HoL, UP, or Occulus)? Those would be a better gauge of if it's possible to do ToC.

Keep in mind the boss lvl difference will greatly affect your hit/miss/resist rate and that the ToC bosses have roughly 166% the HP of the bosses in HoS.

Give it a shot, but remember the difficultly of TOC on regular is supposed to be on part with HOL heroic.

No, I haven't done anything higher than HoS.
I may stick with HoS till 79 the hit HoL till 80 cuz ToC items require 80, so I wouldn't be able to use anything that dropped right away anyway.

CoS is easy if you keep an eye on your mana. It's also pretty fast paced and quick. If you can do HoS, I think you'd be fine in CoS. UP would be doable as well, if you can handle Skadi easily.

I still can't clear UP :/ I can't keep the adds from chewing up my dps while I try to shoot him out of the sky.

Here's a hint to help you a little while learning this fight.

Go through the first time, and setup shop about 1/2 the way down the hall. Sit here and farm spears (on one guy only) until you have about 10. BTW, if you keep your team to the far right, they don't have to move for the breath. I don't recommend this because you need to get in the habit of moving your team from danger, but if you're having trouble with this event, it can take a lot of pressure off. Run the entire team back towards the beginning until he resets (will usually happen in the previous room).

Start the guantlet again, but this time, concentrate on just getting to the end as fast as possible. Ignore spear drops. Setup your entire team next to a cannon. As soon as you see the emote, spam the cannon with the char who picked up the spears. You will, at most, have two passes if you do this.

Farming the spears independently like this helps you concentrate on getting to the end of the hall on the second run.
No matter where you go, there you are.
