Default need help with new account(s)

Ok, so about a month ago I started boxing and loved it (borrowed a friends account). I now am ready to try 4-5 but want to be clear on the RAF thing as well as some other questions so any help you guys can give I would be thankful.

    1. I currently have one account and want to be sure I set up the RAF correctly. Do I send RAF 3 from 2 and send RAF 4 from 3 etc OR do I just RAF 2345 from 1?
    2. Do I use my same name on the accounts as my main? Do I setup 4 other e-mail addresses?
    3. Can I use the same credit card or will I get some crap and have to use 5 (which would be a problem).
    4. Do I need to wait to roll all under my battlenet or go ahead as soon as I get the accounts?

Anything I'm missing please point it out. I already have keyclone and the addons recommended.

    Thanks again,

    Hate

    1. There are several ways to set up the RAF scheme and several are covered in the newcomers forum. Check there and if you have questions about why 1 scheme works and another does not ask that type of question. 2345>1 will not be as effective as 1>2>3>4>5. These of course are not the only options, so check out the threads.
http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=23605 this is a good RAF thread

    2. You should have all the same information on all of your accounts. This will ease problem solving should one of your accounts be reported. When blizz see's all the same information more often than not nothing will happen and you'll never even know you were reported.
    3. The same credit card can be used for any number of accounts, though you may have to spread the signups over a couple days due to anti-fraud protections on your card. For example 4 of my accounts charge on the same day and the 5th has to charge on a second day because my bank feels 5 charges from a place on the same day is fraud. Working with your bank you can have all of them charge on one day without issue, usually just takes a short phone call to the "helpdesk."
    4. There are advantages and disadvantages to using 1 B-Net account. It's nice to have all the accts on one B-Net for origanizational and promotional purposes. Though it's quite convenient to use 1 authenticator attached to 5 B-Nets for rapid logins. Again the differences are covered quite well in the newcomers forum.
http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthrea...t=25983&page=3 Here's a "decent" thread about several B-Net setups...it's kind of lengthy but there is good information in it.

On a side note, sharing and lending accounts for which you are not the primary user or a child/parent of the primary user is against the ToS and therefore discussion of such behavior is against the forum posting rules. If you would like to experiment with setups, or just macros use trial accounts to stay within the legal realms of multiboxing. As a boxer you will be in the spotlight and you will be reported, if you're doing anything wrong blizz will ban 1 or all of your accounts.

Other than that welcome to the forums and good luck.

    Bettysue,

Awesome post, thanks. I will read back over the RAF stuff and noted on the information being the same and not using my friends for testing.

Thanks for the help again very much!

Hey no problem. I'm not trying to be a rule nazi I just want to make sure boxing stays fun and legal for everyone including myself

Added another link for the B-Net stuff there's a ton of threads about it though so just check around you should be able to find one thing that will work for you.

    Default One more question

No problem, I understand and I don't want to get banned from anywhere so that is a good heads up. One question though. After reading the RAF's again I understand the need for the account info being the same and agree however, I don't see or understand, do you send the RAF's to your current e-mail that blizz has or do (did) you send them to new address but then put in your info for the account info?

    Thank you again.

From account management on an already running account, send an RAF link to your own email.

Use the email you receive to start an account.

Once the account is up and running, upgrade it with retail (purchased) CD keys.

If you are daisy chaining the accounts together, send an RAF link from the account management for this account.
