Octopus does mouseclick broadcasting very well. It's not instant but it is accurate enough to have satisfied every requirement I've had for the last couple of years. There's no point in putting HKN on there just for that feature. The easiest way to figure out if mouseclick broadcasting is working is to set up MS Paint as the window you're broadcasting to and a big paintbrush. That way, when you click, it'll put a dot on the screen to show you where it clicked. Once you get it working in that, then go back to WoW.
If the Octopus_Guide.pdf doesn't help you figure it out, make sure you have the Server-->Clicks list filled with all your buttons you want broadcasted. if the button isn't in that list, it won't get clicked.If that doesn't help, lemme know and I'll see if I can whip up an example tutorial for ya.
