New to dual-boxing

Ok here's the background. I have 2 WoW accounts and my wife has 1. I've set up a 3 man group between the accounts and ran it just having the keyboards at my desk (i have a laptop and desktop). This process worked for me but was tedious.

I now want to actually dual box my laptop and desktop (until I get another desktop). My laptop is a HP Intel Centrino dual core processor with 256mb dedicated video running Vista. The desktop is an Alienware dual core amd with 2 gig ram and 512 dedicated video running XP.

I have a G15 keyboard for the desktop with a g5 gaming mouse (I believe it's g5) and for the laptop i have a vx revolution wireless mouse.

What exactly would be the best way to setup dual boxing these?

Also bear in mind that I take the laptop back and forth to work every night (I can game from work).
