also just as a Side note do a mem test to verify normal ram is ok. (As I have seen many techs replace tons of hardware just to ultimately find out it was all due to failing ram.)

So do you guys have any suggestions for the next card I shall buy
I want it to be cheap and as good as the 8800GTX
I was thinking about the 1GB model of 9500GT

Would that be a bad or good choise?

Cheap is a very relative term. Cheap was the $200 I spent on an ATI-4890 recently but this more card than you would need I think.

    How much are you budgeting?

Im willing to send around 140$

    Ive been looking on
ASUS Radeon HD 4850, 1 GB DDR3, PCIe

    • Powered by ATI Radeon HD 4850 @ 625 MHz
    • 1 GB 256-bit DDR3 RAM @ 1.98 GHz (This is what interest me most, its beating the 8800GTX)
    • 800 Stream Processors
    • Microsoft DirectX 10.1 og OpenGL 2.1 support
    • Dual Digital DVI samt HDTV-out
    • HDMI output med indbygget 7.1 sorround audio
    • Stor og effektiv Glaciator Fansink
    • ATI Avivo HD teknologi, afspil H.264, Blu-ray og HD-DVD materiale
    • ATI CrossfireX support (This could also interest me in the future maybe)

    And price is 135$

Would it be a good buy?

The 4850 is an excellent card. I have 2 of them in my machine. However I think you can get a 4850 cheaper than one you listed.

I guess that the 8800 model just burns after working hardcore mode for long periods. Same thing happened to a friend of mine too.

Btw, my stribes were vertical green bars. After the card burned completely even the BIOS POST was getting the green bars. The only way to fix it was changing graphics card.
But this is WoW. WE aren't hardcore and never play for long periods
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves
