    Default Fort hood

Military members and non military please outta respec give a moment of silence for those 13 that were killed at food hood, and those injured. To me this is a big deal i went thru the marine corp did my time and to see this happen on a military base sickens mean with disgust. Now you have the muslim nation saying we are not all like this, and then one comes on and says they do this for a practice.

They all wonder why we as americans think of them this way. You have so many muslims arab nation people do this gives them a bad rep. I cant forgive and will not forget for what has happened.

So once again moment of silence out of respec for those that were unrightfully murdered becuase of someones belief that americans should die.

Thank you and for all you military members happy Birthday marines semper- fi and for the rest of the military happy early veterans day. OOORAAAH!!!
They say spiders have 8 legs well i guess im a rare and unimaginable specimen. Ive got 9 legs and my web comes from that 9th leg. HaHa.

As a military member myself, I have alot of blame to lay with the Army. Military retention sometimes is really stupid in their thinking, after reviewing some of the articles that clearly showed this mans views why he was kept in the AMERICAN military blows my mind.

I dont blame a religion, i blame the person and I blame many of those in charge for their retention policies.

While this was a tragic event that should never have occurred, the blame should not be put on the muslims. I'm an american and I do not think of muslims in the same way you do. Good and bad people exist in every facet of life. I can't blame an entire religion for the actions of this individual.

I'd have to agree with you on this.

I wonder. There are folks who say we can't blame Muslims for this (and all other "jihad" sort of acts around the world) as it is a minority of radicals that have hijacked the religion for nefarious purposes. I wonder if they would have said the same thing about Catholicism or Christianity during the Crusades.

I just can't seem to be able to generate much "cultural sensitivity" when that necessarily means overlooking things like honor killings, burqas, fatwas, or being taxed and denigrated as a lesser human with fewer rights (or none at all), simply because I follow a different religion.

    So you blame Islam?

Somehow I knew someone like you would show up. No, I don't blame islam in general. The point is that it is the height of stupidity to ignore a segment of people who produce the majority of terrorists just because that segment of people fall under a certain religion. "Oh, you can't say that about him, it's PROFILING!" Bullshit. Can you imagine rednecks standing up and saying cops were profiling them outside of NASCAR races because they were known to be more likely to be drunk driving on the way home? R. O. F. L. Sell stupid somewhere else.

Having direct second-hand knowledge from Iraqis, Kurds and even a few Iranians, I think maybe you should just stop before you mire yourself any further. Your ignorance is showing.

Americans are made up of all kinds of different races and religious affiliations. American Muslims are just as much an American as any others.

Insanity! Guessing he wasnt planning on living. ;p I was at Ft in-da-hood for a few months before my transfer went thru. Its a huge huge place. Whoever was talking about retention polices is spot on. I still get calls by recruiters and I have been out for 5 years +20 lbs. ;p

Military has all kinds of sensitivity training, almost too much of it. Anyways, its a tragic event, but no more tragic than soliders getting killed in Afghanistan. They only difference is you get all these people(Media included) who blame which ever personal agenda they want. Gun regulation, freedom of religion, security of military installations, linking to other terrorists blaming a "No Warning" and so on.

I agree, the media itself can be the worst enemy at times...I still want to know when the "news" became an opinion article. There is nothing wrong with releasing the facts to the public, it's the speculation that has to go.
