For what it's worth: I'm new to multiboxing, and on top of that new to the game (doing both for about a month now). The RAF system is awesome cause after making 5x lvl 60 shamans I could just make a free lvl 60 paladin, priest & druide. Now the downside: with the 3x speed, your level supersedes your 'knowledge' very fast. Meaning that besides casting the regular spells and using a few straightforward totems, I haven't really used my class to its full extend. Not to mention that I now have a 60 paladin, priest & druide that have (had) no gear, no spells and where I'm clueless how to play them (for now I switched 1 shaman for the pally tank).
And that is in line with what fursphere is saying imo: the excitement to start playing and leveling up fast without having a real clue is the same as the excitement when you first multibox. Taking some time to figure out something more than just the very basics is a win in the long run.
That's what I did with my multiboxing: I deinstalled all suggest plugins, used a very basic key broadcasting script and started to improve my macro's by adding more complexity by the hour. Once I'm confident that I *master* macro multiboxing, I might replace it with plugins/programs that automate/wizard it. And I'm sure that a new world will open. My point being: this approach has saved me lots of trouble and gained me more knowledge about what i'm doing macro-wise than when I would use a 'wizard'. But of course what works for me doesn't necessarily works for someone else.
