Facepalm moment

This is very old, but it's from when I was solo player and wow was just out of beta... lots of years ago.

1 ) As a lowbie undead mage I found the Scarlet Monastery guards. The skull level looked like a target to kill, so I just attacked.

2 ) With my warlock in Deadmines got kicked fromtwo groups because I was "ninjaing" all the soul shards.

3 ) When the soul link bug was around I enslaved all the demons in the balsted lands and became "immortal". Proceeded to wipe an entire horde raid that was doing Kazzak and then finished him. Too bad the hordes got the loot instead of me

4 ) I kited Hogger to the Undercity just to have a guard kill him

5 ) When I finished the internal quest on my warlock I just ran to the crossroads and droppen an infernal just to have it turn on me 15 seconds later.

6 ) Summoned doomguard and infernal in goldshire and let them on rampage just to see a horde raid going to SW oneshot them

about two weeks ago i was changing my macros to make them more streamlined and to add a heal in my dps macro so i could just spam lightning bolt/heal without switching to another button and i didn't put a comma somewhere and the only macro i had working correctly was lava burst....

So i went to take a siege factory and there was one warrior there and i lava bursted him down to like nothing, like 200 hp left if that, and tried to finish him off but my lightning bolts weren't firing, and he wiped my whole group before i figured out what happened.

I thought he was hacking in some way because he took all 5 of my toons down lol

I've had various facepalms while multiboxing, but none of them amount to my biggest facepalm of all time:

My usual /facepalm is when I'm grinding heroics, engaging a boss - just to notice that I have two-three paladins stuck somewhere else :P

Doing the quest where you have to fight the clone of yourself on the big mountain north in howling fjords.

There you recieve the slowfall buff. Did the quest, all 5 got completed, jumped down, 4 died :-)

I had a macro facepalm in my first real instance with my team:

I used cast sequence with a reset=target.... on the first boss I died because the sequence ran out of spells and my dps just stood there doing nothing, lol

mmm I have more then ones forgot to turn on keybroadcasting in arena.. ^^ I was constantly getting verbally abused by other teams so i had to talk back a bit.. this was in late S2 i think and i was pretty new to arenas. well it ended swift. :P

My facepalm moment happened yesterday when we(2x 5boxers) were wiping like 10 times at Grobbulus because of a nasty green cloud going off in the middle of the grp 1 sec after the toon had been infected..

Well we tried it till I realised I was dropping a cleansing totem everytime :/ Killed him after removing the totem -.-

OMG, this reminds me of my facepalm moment in a "single player" raid when I wiped the raid by dispelling it on a mage whilst he was standing in the middle of the other ranged dps

I had a new one last night. While playing around with interact with target and click to move for the first time.

I was doing the breaking the blockade quest off the zepplin in howling fjord, I clicked on the bomb to get the aoe targetting circle and I wasn't in range yet... I right clicked the ocean to cancel the item use and walked my whole team off the air ship...

Dang click to move is gonna be a pain to get used to
