    There isn't a way to disable follow, aside from a movement key.
    A minute turn to the left or right, forward or backwards movement or strafing will break follow because you have initiated a new movement of your own.

    Since your lead is not following anyone, and of the slave only movement keys will break follow.
    Create a mapped key, any hotkey to activate it.
    Have it send W (forward) to Target: Window (All) Without Current.
    I usually use my spread out key to break follow, which is the same deal.

    There is the Jamba Strobe, and you can enable/disable that.
    But you'd still have to break follow normally, once Strobe was turned off.

    I got it - one problem solved! Thanks a bunch - i really appreciate the community so far and the willingness to help out a new guy. I am sure I'll have more questions in time.
