Alterac Valley Marks of Honor

What do you use them for? Near as I can tell they just get you level 60 gear. Am I missing a vendor somewhere?

nope, all u can do is get all the other types of marks, like AB, EOTS, WSG, and then turn one of each in for 1500 honor or so.

You used to need 20-40 of a mark type, along with honor for each of the BG level PvP pieces.

I'm not sure if you'd make better honor per hour, just staying in AV.
Or doing whichever BG you have the least marks for, of those which provide the bonus honor for mark turning in.

u can go to the tru av entrance in alterac and get a mount with 60 of em, or get 20 of each and get the other mounts.

I used 100 for the mount and 50 for the battle standard then just let all the rest I got in the mail expire. You can buy things like mana/hp pots for use in bg's but they are pretty weak.

I bought the alterac rams, tabards and battle standards on all my toons, but I am still capped.

IMO they should upgrade some of the gear in there. Make some PvP leveling pieces, decent quality blues, for little to no honor, just AV marks, so people who level in BGs arent wearing gear 10-20 levels below. Make a decent set between 60-70 and 70-80, similar in quality to dungeon drops and group quest rewards of that level.

The only other thing you can get is with 30 marks from AV AB and WSG you can get the pvp mounts.

edit: Ok, so there are some lvl 70 stuff you can get. [item=][/item] but still. there should be higher lvl versions of the old school lvl 58 blues.
