I set my tanks focus to the dragon so I can see its health, I do the event slow and sure. So i might take two waves where I damage the dragon.
I run up right away and grab the main wave as it comes down, i get everything except the last two rows. Remember they are undead so if you can holy wrath that might help to keep aggro and snap a heal.
Then i retreat back to the beginning and gather up some harpoons as a buffer, I down shift to seal of wisdom.
Once I have the harpoons we head up and meet what will be a caster/melee group midway. Then we meet the second to last row and the melee group, its here where I drop my camp, right behind the little wreckage on the internal side and a large pillar on the external side. Thats a solid ~30 yards away from the harpoons.
Then I engage the last row and whatever is going on with the harpooner people. I might take a shot or with a harpoon.
I med up and make sure everything is sober, change my seal to tanking and drop fresh totems.
I should have the dragon down at this point and I fight the dude at the harpoon guns. I will loose aggro and he will whirlwind to the group, I am pretty used to doing this instance daily so I wait until he is just at the camp before I range taunt him back to me (might be a hit cap wipe moment, lol)
At this point he is down, if your geared. If your still searching for ilevel 200 stuff he isn't down and you have another aggro loss. In this case you might need to follow him and melee taunt him and walk him backwards to the harpoons while you tank. But basically this ranging him is the way to go. Keep walking him back to the harpoon guns.
I use this method with paladin and shaman x4, warrior, shaman, huntards x3, paladin, priest, warlock. mage, boomkin, paladin, priest, mage, mage, mage. Most of the time its not a healing event, my priests are dpsing.
When people come with and they are melee I just tell them to stay at the harpoons and when he moves not to follow.
Some issues can happen if the last wave is a caster group and that caster is nuking you healer or something similar. You truly need to get rid of those guys, they die quick but can be a serious issue to the camp.
