Default Mass Dispel / cick AOE effects

Currently, using out of the box wizard setup and using white/black list for keys. I have the default FTL keymaps and such.

I am running: Ret pally, Frost DK, and Disc Priest. Pretty fun so far. I mostly do Wintergrasp and BG's.

My question is, whats the best method to use mass dispel? Currently, I swap to my priest screen (almost instant) (CTRL+-), F, move the camera a little, then back to my ret pally (mainly my leader) (CTRL+0).

I am guessing I need to figure out how to make a keymap, turn repeater mouse on, and sycn camera views, in order not to swap screens?

    Thanks,
    Acid

You can broadcast mouse clicks with IS Boxer.
I'm assuming you have it, since your post is refering to keymaps and repeater.

We're going to create a Keymap for this.
It can be anywhere, but I generally put my created maps in General.
Click on Keymaps >> General on the top.
On the left, right click on Mapped Keys and select New Mapped Key.
Name is something like Mass Dispel.

Now we need a keybind (hotkey) to activate this keymap, in your post above this is F.
Click the little arrow to the right of the Hotkey field, then press F (or whatever your keybind is).

Check the box beside "Send Next Click", then in the drop down box select which character gets the click.
(You could also create an "Action Target Group" if you wanted multiple toons to broadcast clicks at once, on the same key; then just use the name of the action target group instead of the toon's name)

Optionally you can check to block clicks from the current window (KVM mode), which means only the priest will receive the click.

Now click on the 1 under Steps (on the left).

On the right, right click on Actions and select Keystroke Action >> New Key Keystroke Action.
In the Target window, select the priests name (or the action target group).
In the Key Combination window, enter the keybind for the Mass Dispel.
(Note with Action Target Groups, you might have a different Key Combination for toons, so the Priest gets F, while the Mage gets B).

At the top click on File and select Export to Inner Space.

    You're done.

    *Edit*
This will create a mouse target circle in the Priests window.
Your mouse will still be in the active/hot toon's window, but as you move it, it will move in the priest's window too.

When you left click, it will pass that click to the priest, which activates the Mass Dispel.
If you want, you could use a side button on the mouse as the hotkey to activate the Keymap.
So click the forward thumb mouse button, and then position the target circle and left click.

You don't need to turn repeater on or to sync views.
Just look at the priest's window and see where the target circle is.
After the click it automatically turns this off.

    Ualaa,

    2 questions:

    1. Now, when I type, obviously F does not work. Is the only way to type now to disable keymaps?

    2. Is it just better for me to sit down and keymap all my keys I use, instead of using the White List ?

    Thanks,
    Acid

It has been suggested before to not use a blacklist/whitelist. You should keymap all your keys. Now I have not done this yet myself as I currently do not have the time to spend to do it. To turn off key maps do shift+alt+m for the repeater do shift+alt+r. To turn off follow strobing its shift+alt+f. Those keystrokes where generated by the wizard in ISboxer.

With Keyclone, our only option was the white/black lists.

Keymaps are a much stronger option.
They get you a ton more flexibility in what you can accomplish.
You can have a lot of things happen on one step.
And include as many steps as you like (different results on successive presses of the same key).

I'd strongly recommend going with Keymaps.
And not using the white/black lists with Inner Space.
If you like, you can organize your key maps into different groups, you're not limited to just General, Control and FTL.
Then you can have a Keymap like the Control Keymap to turn on or off an entire set of keymaps.
It gives you a lot of flexibility.

I use the F key, to have all of my slaves assist the hot toon and get her target.
So like you, with Keymaps on, I cannot send the F key in any chat.
When chatting its easiest to disable keymaps and have repeater off.
Or keymaps off and repeater on, when doing passwords.
