    Default Best suited for BG-pvp?

So, pretty much all teams are viable for PvP and it seems that shamans and paladins are the only teams proven viable in arenas at the moment. I've never really been into the arena-thing, so the prospect of rated battlegrounds seem attractive to me, but the question is, what teams are the better in a battleground-type scenario?

I imagine shamans doing well here too, because of the turret-thing, they make good defenders. Warlocks seem viable also because of tools and mobility, although probably less defensive than shaman. What other teams could excel in future BG's?

Ooh, that is good news indeed! What healer do you run with? What spec are they?

Shamans are probably still king in battlegrounds. Warlocks are ok, but you need a healer and tremor totem is preferable. Smaller battlegrounds with warlocks (except AV and Isle) can be very frustrating without a healer. Invincible rogues and ret pallies will kill 1 of you before you can dot them. Destro is better at killing difficult CD based targets like these, but its a lil frustrating to deal with LOS / facing issues as well. If you have a resto shaman nearby with tremor down, however, its much like playing elemental shamans.

Without arena aspirations, I'm leveling balance druids and affliction warlocks (5x of each) specifically for BG's. The druids are alliance side and the warlocks horde side.

I do plan to arena both sets, but only as a means to faster BG gear.

Beyond creating the warlocks, to save their names and logging them in once so IS will detect them, they've not been played. I still need to create a horde DK (gets all the FP's) to facilitate the transfer of gold (via neutral AH) to the warlocks. Enough gold to just level and not worry about it, plus slow flyers. The team will not have RAF, but hopefully the process will be new, having never leveled any horde toons.

I think Affliction will be fun in BG's. They get a lot of self heals, Drain Life and Siphon Life via Corruption, and then Haunt. Will likely go with 5x Felhunters (or maybe 1x Imp, 4x Felhunters) with Soul Link.

Haunt x5, Corruption x5, Unstable Affliction x5 and then Tongues/Weakness/Agony/Exhaustion/Elements at once on a toon will be rather fun. Instant cast Howl of Terror on round robin, Skill Coil on round robin, Spell Lock on round robin.

    Fun times.

The druids have strong self healing (rejuvenation, lifebloom as instants, regrowth if I need more). Planning on each druid click broadcasting to the other four, but KVM mode so one remains in Moonkin for the buff.

Cat form + stealth + dash, for sneaking around and surprise attacks.

Starfall, Hurricane and Force of Nature for some AoE, which could be rather fun out of stealth.

Fairly strong sustained dps, even if they lack some burst, in the BG environment that will be enough to take most single targets out, or to help kill Galv/Drek etc. I'm using MSBT to announce procs, announcing each druids proc as their hotkey for the Eclipse toggle Keymap within ISBoxer.

I think they're going to be very fun too.

Going to use Focus for Cyclone targeting, with Focus on round robin.

Typhoon to push back (+daze) on a round-robin, or maybe to push people off of cliffs/the bridge etc, just like I enjoy doing with thunderstorm on the shammies.
