    Default Heroic HoL down!

    Heroic HoL Down!
I have learned in recent days to not be a such a chicken. I had been farting around picking off easy bosses. I had been picking on General Gjarngrin and tried the achievement and got it so when HoL was the daily I just went for it. I didn't think i had a chance on fights like Ionar or even Volkhan. I actually only had two wipes, 1. trash to Ionar. I forgot about the fear. 2. On Ionar.

I cleared it and grabbed all the achievements. I'm pumped. I love spamming gchat with achievements.

    You can do it!

    Congratulations!!

I still have heroic HoL on my todo list. Sadly I think it's gonna be harder with my paladins, but you're right about moving away from easy kills

    Outstanding!

I was also hesitant to solo Loken, as every attempt I made with a normal five man group had me dead every time he was downed. Usually I was the healer. After one shotting lightning charged Bjarngrim a few days earlier, I went back and owned HoL. Including one shotting Loken, gear does help immensely.

Did you just stand there and heal through the novas or did you move out of them?

I'll link my Loken kill shot as I don't want to steal your thunder.

And I also love spamming guild with achievements.

Yeh I too only did HoL heroic recently. Last time I went to Hol was when I first hit 80 not long after wotlk launched. I managed to get Ionar down after about 8 wipes. I was using the run away method back then and it put me off trying the harder instances. When I went this time I just used the spread out method with nature resist and it makes it a tank and spank. I healed through the nova on Loken and got the achievement. Now it would be near the top of my list of easy heroics to do should they come up as the daily

Hol is also on my to-do list. I have also been doing easy heroics *shame*.

I did HoL on normal when i just hit 80 and Ionar was the hardest part.

This was actually my first heroic completed. I tried the running method on Lonar and phailed. Then I read someone's comment about being spread out so I tried it and got him first try with a little help from the mana tide totem. If i am running with guildies I almost always heal with a shaman and train them on where to stand and DON'T MOVE!!
