Default New season / PvP gear cycle

I'm a bit confused as to how pvp gear cycles.

With PvE gear it seems that it gets updated with most content patches. With the "new" emblem systems, the emblems from the previous gear cycle become more or less obselete and new starts dropping.

It seems to be different with PvP gear though. As I understand it, the current system is that gear two (?) seasons old (deadly?) can be bought with badges, and current gear (relentless?) can be bought with honor/arena points and most have rating requirements. As I understand it, furious gear is from last season. So what happens when 3.3 and new arena season hits. Does furious gear become available for purchase with emblems, while relentless goes out and a new set of pvp gear becomes availble for purchase with arena points / honor / rating req?

The longevity of the PvP gear is one of the reasons why I just recently converted to full PvP.

Two seasons Old - you can buy with honor only or as its the case now, Emblems of Conquest (so Heroic Badges). Only set is available or maybe some vendor in orgrimmar has the rest.
One season Old you can buy with rating (very low), little Honor and very few arena points. Offset you can buy with just Honor.
Current Season you buy offset with rating+honor and set with rating, honor and arena points.

So, normally, when a new Season hits, taking this for example, Deadly will disappear, Furious will be bought with Emblems of Triumph, Relentless with Emblems of Frost and Wrathfull will replace Relentless.

Additional question: Nobundos 4-piece bonus (+20pct dmg to lava burst) looks pretty sweet for pvp - would this in any way be a viable option or is the resilience loss too great?

In my opinion this is no option for multiboxing cause you will lose around 200 resilence. This is too much. In addition you will lose around 2k of life.

Apparently it's the solo elementals that will be getting that bonus nerfed. It was too OP for arenas I guess.

Yeah the 4 piece bonus from Tier 9 in high end arena both 3v3 and 5v5 was retarded. I seen Shamans hit people with 900+ res for 10k lava burst! Heck I could even link a video where it happens in a 3v3 spellcleave vs TSG match.

Resilience and Stamina are worth having in boatloads.
However, if you can trade some of that, for an auto kill, its probably worth while.

It's the same idea with enchants or gemming.
We can gain 200 health on all toons, or say 25 spell power, which is 100 across 4 toons.
100 per nuke volley extra, really adds up.
