I've had my main added to about 5 people's friends list following abuse. Lol botter, or wft hax or whatever. Up till now I always /w back to explain, and many people end up pretty interested, several have been monitoring my progress and /w ing me regularly since.

The haters often become lovers when they know the deal it seems.

Oh, I respond back politely enough but I never respond well to threats. They can report me and stfu and have a GM explain the rules to them, they can ask me nicely and get a nice response, or they can refuse to stfu get reported for harassment.

Their choice, really.

I've had numerous botter, cheater, etc comments thrown at me. Even people asking me how I do it just so they can post it in their petitions.

However, the most surprising of all was someone that came back to me and apologized for accusing me of cheating after a GM spoke to them and explained that multi-boxing is perfectly legit. I even removed this guy from my ignore list.

For some reason, being called a botter really gets under my skin.

Well this is the first time I've had some sort of proof of cross-faction hatred. I have a pretty standard non-pvp policy while leveling - I only defend myself or others, but once attacked they're on my KoS list forever.

Interesting, I admit I have hit only a couple of morons who refuse understand I am not botting. I hit all of them in the classic content.

On the other foot, this weekend was pretty cool. I got a lot of cheers from players on both factions. I helped both horde and alliance groups at ring of blood (I waited till the place was clear so I could see if i could "solo" it). I also got a bunch of questions about what I was doing. And for some reason I always get people wanting to duel one of the five? I mean why would you bother? /confused

Up to Nagrand I only drew a liitle attention... I get a few followers in Shatt, but the lag there is bad for a single box setup so I rarely go in with the full team. So this weekend was an eye opener.

My team is setup for PvE, so PvP is not something I go looking for. Although I do have my 5 shaman team setup (lvl 6), in case I want to level another team up.
