Default big problem with repeater regions

    Hi,

is there a way, i can turn my key-maps off? for example i have a key-map bound to "c", wich is a round-robin, that sends "c" to one wow afert the other ("c" is my stomp ability). so, when im chatting, or writing macros, only every fifth "c"-klick is realy send to my current window.... since i have a lot of key-maps bound to characters like "c", "g", etc. it is really anoying.... i have to write everything in a text-document first and then copy it into wow..... so how can i tun key-maps temorarily off?

and a nother VERY big issue that im facing is the following: i work with repeater-regions a lot. but when i klick a spell through a repeater-region, and then hit my mouse button 4 (mouse button 4 is bound to a key map, that sends mouse button 4 to all wow instances, which starts my lightning-bold macro), it will not send a "mouse button 4" to all my wows, as it should, but it will klick the spell, i klicked through repeater-region.
when i turn mouse+keyboard-repeation on and then off again, it works as usual again.... that makes it really hard to play...

if you could help me with this two issues, i would be a really thankfull, since i wanna fire it up through the weekend, and get into some seriouse boxing (wanna clear my first instances and pwn in pvp etc :P )

    thanks a lot

Alt-Shift-M turns keymaps on and off.

The other problem I don't quite understand what you mean. You have mouse button 4 bound to a combination (Alt-A for example) and when you click that mouse button you want lightning bolt to start on each character which is bound to Alt-A? I can't see what this has to do with repeater regions, wouldn't you simply bind Alt-A to mouse 4 then set up a keymap in ISBoxer to repeat Alt-A to your group and have each character in the group cast a lightning bolt on Alt-A?

its hard to discribe for me^^ ill try again:

mouse button 4 is the hotkey for a key map. this key map sends mouse button 4 to all of my characters. each character has lighningbold-macro on mouse button 4.

when i now klick a skill/spell on a repeater region, and any time after that, i press mouse button 4 again, it wont send mouse button 4 to all of my characters, but it will send the skill/spell, that i lastly klicked on a repeater region to all of my toons.

i can fix this by turning mouse+keyboard-repeating on and then off again.

another try to discribe my problem:

    1. mouse button 4 -> mouse button 4 to all of my wow instances
    2. klick stomp (for example) on a repeater-region
    3. mouse button 4 -> stomp to all of my wow instances

hope i could discribe it a little better... thank you for your help !

I get a bit of a buggy behavior now and then.

    I turn my Keymaps off.
Then switch to Toon A, Toon B, Toon D and Toon E in turn.
I'm driving with Toon C by default.
When I switch to each toon, I position them at a cardinal point around the edge of a tower.
Basically doing the Ebon Knight dailies to kill gryphon riders and ghoul their corpses.

However, when I switch to Toon E, half the time it turns Mouse broadcasting on.
So double button press to move her to the edge, has the other toons run off.
Not really sure why it does that.
But pretty much just turn keymaps on then off... again.
And turn repeating on and then off...
And then I don't get this issue.
And it only does it on the tower, does not turn repeating on elsewhere, when I position them individually.

Weird behavior, but anyway.. turning the keymaps/repeater on and off, fixes it for me.
    Probably should for you too.

yeah, it does fix it for me, but i dont want it to happen anyways.... its anoying to have to turn mouse+keyboard-repeating on and of during a fight.... there must be another solution...

but thanks for your help anyways!

The issue described here is absolutely not an issue with repeater regions. There is a very simple explanation: The mouse cursor is still right where you told it to be -- on top of Stomp -- and when you press mouse 4, it's going to press it on that button, which will stomp. Broadcasting mouse 4 will not change the position of your mouse cursor on the other windows. It's going to press mouse 4 exactly where the cursor already was on the other screen (on the Stomp button).

I would suggest that instead of broadcasting a mouse click when you press mouse 4, which as you are observing can be taken over by UI elements in the game, you should broadcast some other key combination when you press mouse 4. All WoW key bindings have an alternate key binding available, which you could set to ctrl+shift+alt+v or something equally obscure that doesn't rely on the position of the mouse cursor.

Edit: Note that while this is not an issue with repeater regions, it COULD be viewed as a shortcoming with broadcasting mouse clicks as a key combination. I can do an update soon that will help with this

It had to have already BEEN on, there is absolutely positively no way it turns mouse broadcasting on when you switch unless you have it set up to do so via a Mapped Key (the Mapped Key that happens when you switch is selected per Slot in your Character Set). Sorry.

    What I'm doing...

Take the three dailies from Ebon Hold.

Fly over to the turrets, put a toon in each turret.
    Enable mouse and keyboard repeating.
    Disable Keymaps.
Shoot stuff out of the sky.
    Turn off keyboard repeating.
Mouse broadcast to exit the turrets.
    Disable mouse broadcast.
    Turn on Keymaps.
    Enable strobe follow.

    Kill the Vyrkul type guys.
Target corpse on the Pally and have the Shammies assist.
    Enable mouse broadcast.
Click the daily hotkey button on each toon, which includes "/use Ebon Knight Banner".
    Turn off mouse broadcast.
Kill two more Vyrkul, broadcasting and then disabling as above for each.

    Mount up.
Spacebar for main to take off, Control Space for slaves to take off.
Once they're all in the air, Follow Strobe (on since ending Turret Daily) kicks in.
Fly towards the middle of the burning buildings area.
    Disable Follow Strobe.
Press Control Spacebar, for Shammies to fly upwards a tad, breaking follow.
Disable Keymaps, so when I press 3 to burn buildings, the Shammies don't cast.
Fly down, dismount, grab a dragon thing, and burn 8 buildings around the shammies.
Dismount from vehicle. Mount on my griffon. Fly up to shammies.
    Enable Keymaps, Press Strobe key.

Fly over the edge and take the two dailies for in the harbor (kill gryphons and ghoul the corpses).
Spacebar and then Control Spacebar, strobe follow kicks in once they're all in the air.

Fly down to one of the more centralized towers (driving pally, shammies on follow).
Land, hit Shift A (AoE totem set, plus Consecrate).
    Disable strobe follow.
Turn off Keymaps so I don't get auto follow on a toon switch.
G13 to switch to shammy 1, run to North and face south.
G14 to switch to shammy 2, run to West and face east.
G16 to switch to shammy 3, run to South and face north.
G17 to switch to shammy 4, run to East and face west.
    G15 to switch to Pally.

At the G17 step, roughly half the time, mouse broadcasting turns on.
Although my M1 (keyboard broadcast), M2 (mouse broadcast) and M3 (keymaps on) lights are all off.
When it does turn on, the act of mouse turning the last shammy and running her to the edge, causes the others to turn (face outwards) and run off the edge.
It doesn't happen every time I'm on the tower. But it does happen fairly regularly.

My Pally/Shammy team is in the "Blue Team" character set, if that makes it easier.

Just quickly reviewing this at the moment, I'm about to sit down to eat so I can't pick through it in detail.

There's nothing functionally different in ISBoxer when you're hitting G17 versus hitting G16. Have you checked to make sure your G15 keyboard profile is still empty?

    It's empty.

I start it up, by clicking Profiler short cut.
Then end task in task manager.

If I just run IS, without opening the empty Profiler and ending it, the G keys don't work.

I couldn't see anything in the configuration to get that behavior.
Nothing turns on mouse repeater, aside from my M2 key, as far as I can see.
