I'm impressed. I have well over 10x 80s and I've never tried to 10x anything.
I guess I'm going to have to give it a try. my guys are already fairly decked out in epics.

You know its embarrassing that 10 people cant do it on there own but one 10 boxer can.

awesome job smooth - your persistence has paid off ... my brother is working on his 5 box team so we can do 10mans. Naxx will prob be one of the first ... How far can you go in 10mans with with two 5box teams? Is there any 10man content that isn't really possible? There's pretty good gear currently avail from badges, so unless the more recent 10man content is box-able, there's not much point to 10boxing from a gearing perspective ... any thoughts?

It's funny because I think I would have downed Patchwerk if I'd had a ranged DPS sub for my second tank. It's so much easier just tanking it with one person than spreading the damage between two, because it's hard for a boxer to have discretion in who's being healed, and you need to save mana on this fight. I know I'll get him down easily once both my priests have enough regen to handle Gheal spam the whole fight. I got him to 20% with the second tank dead the entire fight and one healer going OOM due to bad gear.
I think it's very possible that I could clear Naxx 10-man, so I'm sure Smooth could, too. The thing about 10-man Naxx (non-heroic) is that if you get all your guys into T9 gear from BOE and badges, you're way overpowering the instance, and we all know what happens when you're overgeared: fight mechanics stop mattering. You could possibly spread out and kill Thaddius without a damage buff, you could kill Grobbulus without bothering to move more than a couple times, you could so overwhelm Gothik adds that it wouldn't matter what pace you killed them, etc etc.
so once you're geared out with badges (i am not), what's the next logical 10 man to do? Ony 10? ToC 10? are they boxable with two 5-mans?

Fight mechanics still matter no matter what level, you can still wipe in bwl
IF you can kill patchwerk, you can kill thad with spreading out, its been like that since beginning of wotlk, no need for buff in 10 man. Same with gothik, one side start existed since almost start of wotlk, aoe-ing 4h instead of spreading them etc.
You could pull the two that do move to the guy to the close right and aoe those three there. Just stick a healer in the back near the lady to self heal to avoid the raid wide aoe damage. I've never tried this way but have heard of it.
You only need to be within 55 yds of the 2 stationary bosses to avoid the raidwide aoe but their stackable marks only have a 45 yd range. You would still need pretty good dps to aoe the 3 down before getting too many debuff stacks since you'd be getting 1 from each of them.
