    Default spell on another character

I am very new to multi boxing and I would like to find a way to have my priest's spells on my rogues action bar. What I already tried was using a private channel and chat event moniter to have my rogue "tell" my priest was spells to cast, but this was blocked by the blizzard UI. Does anyone know a way around this, or have another solution?

    Thanks.

Get a software broadcasting program of your choice.

I've used both Keyclone and Innerspace, which are both pay options.
Keyclone is the easier program to set up, but Innerspace is the stronger of the two.
Keyclone is $20 per computer, for a lifetime license.
Innerspace is $36 per year, for a subscription that lets you use up to 5 computers.

GameCommanderPro is another pay option, but I've never used it.

HotKeyNet, AutoHotKey and Octopus are free options, but I've never used these either.

Most users on this site seem to use one of: HotKeyNet, InnerSpace or Keyclone.
So I'd recommend going with one of those.

Once you have your broadcast software, the easiest way will be to create macro's on the priest for heals.
You can either have toon specific heals or heals which assist your rogue's target.
    Or a combination.

Have the priest heals on whatever key.
Don't have anything for the rogue on that same key.
If you want a visual reminder, you can create a macro on the rogue.
For the picture, scroll down and pick the same icon as the priest heal.
But have the rogue's macro (with priest heal icon) do nothing.
But have the priest heal (on the same number) on the priests screen.

If you want toon specific heals, have the priest make macro's like this:

    #show Renew
    /cast [target=RogueName] Renew

    #show Renew
    /cast [target=PriestName] Renew

Alternatively, have the priest assist the hostile.

    #show Renew
    /assist [target=RogueName]
/cast [help] Renew; [help, target=targettarget] Renew

With the second type macro, if the rogue is targeting a friendly, it will heal that target.
But if the rogue is targeting a hostile, then it will heal the target of the rogue's target, which will likely be one of your toons. Or it could be the tank who you grouped with for a group quest.

Ultimately, you'll pick keybinds for heals.
And learn them, so when you want whatever heal, it is instinctive.

If you go with HKN or IS, I'd look into Mouse Broadcasting for heals.
With IS, they're called Repeater Regions, and are much more powerful then macro's.
Still macro's will get you started, and they work.
