How should I gem/chant for PVP
So I am delving into PVP and really liking it. I was just curios how I should gem/chant for PVP. PVE I have down pat defense, to hit etc etc
I was thinking for PVP I should have all the deadly gear, the badge rings/necks that are stamina and such.
I was thinking just all stamina in ever gem/chant and spell power for anything I can't do stamina for.
Any suggestions?

Gem spell power and up to about 100 spell penetration
Don't gem stamina, it's a waste. if you can't kill the dps you'll still die, just 1.5 seconds later if you have stam gems.

Cool so spell power/spell pen on the shamans. Just regular stuff for the tank/priest?

what is your team? what classes

I run a DK, Preist, 3 Shamans.
Right now the DK is 540 defense, 40khp, typical tank.
Preist is holy/disc he is all mp5/spell power.
Shamans are elemental they are all hit to cap, then spell power, then haste.
I just copied your specs for my shamans and my priest/DK just needed a little tweaking.
I got them all new glypths etc.
I am farming the deadly stuff but was unsure what to do for the accesories. I figured just typical dps accessories for shaman, mp5/spell power for preist, and the usual str, sta etc etc for the DK.
Does defense count at all in PVP?

Sort of.
Defense still reduces your chance to be crit.
And increases your chance to parry, dodge and block.
However, as far as itemization goes, Resilience is far superior for PvP.
Just like Resilience works for PvE, but Defense is better there.

I figured for now I would farm all the deadly stuff with honor/badges and then start looking at accessories.
Preist will probably stay the same for accessories.
Shamans lose hit stuff and get DPS stuff for accessories.
DK stays the same str, sta, agil for accessories.
100 Spell pen on the shamans, and res as high as I can get it on all my guys.
I will use the PVP enchants/gems
My guys all have like 150 badges just collecting dust and about 600 stonekeeper shards so I can buy a ton of stuff right up front.

Look into which pieces will get you a two-piece bonus or a four-piece bonus.
For some classes that's huge, for others not so much, although each piece helps.
