Mana Totem Question

I see that the health totems do stack and apparently the mana ones dont, but i read in a couple places that some totems with certain ticks stack in a way???

Just curious if theres a way around this also does the trinket mana totem stack with the skill mana totem of the same name??

Sry couldn't find anything around here about this and thought it should be brought up.

The more mana we can get regening the better ya know.

I am still just dual boxing shammies so for now im using health+mana totem but I plan on adding 1-2 more accounts and am curious to see if anyone has come up with another way to stack mana regen.

Mana spring totem, and the trinket Sunken Temple totem (Enamored Water Spirit) do not stack in any combination. I am unsure about mana tide, but I would assume it also trumps mana spring.

Between 1 mana spring totem and water shield, no shaman should be going oom. However, things are a bit rough pre-20 as you don't get clearcast (elemental focus) until then.

TwentyTotems says Mana Tide does stack, oddly enough. Maybe it's a percentage thing, who knows?

mana tide does stack i think it was largely due to 2 resto shaman in a group felt it was pretty useless haveing a talent that was cancel out by the others totem meaning they had to 'time' the totem drops.

mana sping isnt bad, but it doesnt stack or scale with healing gear like the healing totem does.

but then look at the water shield changes in 2.4

Water Shield now restores mana periodically regardless of how many charges remain. Duration increased to 10 minutes. (New Version - The caster is surrounded by 3 globes of water, granting 50 mana per 5 sec. When a spell, melee or ranged attack hits the caster, 200 mana is restored to the caster. This expends one water globe. Only one globe will activate every few seconds. Lasts 10 min. Only one Elemental Shield can be active on the Shaman at any one time.)

Thanks for the advice everyone, im only lvl 29 er 30 in a few minutes and dont have mana tide or water shield yet but this is the info I was looking for.

as for water shield it is like that on the PTR for now, not sure how much longer until it goes live, maybe this week. I must say though that the mp5 it gives is awsome for backline casting (ie not getting hit)
